Our Life: Beta Build 0.82! (Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android)
Added 2020-10-12 20:09:32 +0000 UTCAnd we've got the next beta build ready to go! We now have all 5 of the base version Moments available. All that's left are the endings scenes themselves, it's pretty unbelievable. The game has really come a long way.
This new Moment, Hang, is where you get to decide things about your body type. It gets pretty complicated with what was previously chosen in Step 2 still being a thing while being able to choose the same things/something else now and etc. Please let us know if there are problems with how the system works currently. We'll be happy to change it up so that everyone can get the body type that makes sense for their MC.
New Content:
- 400,000 words in total!
- The Step 3 Moment "Hang" is now playable
- Errors were fixed from before
- If you're at Fond or Crush during Step 2, the fourth level of relationship (Love), can be unlocked during Step 3. If you were indifferent during Step 2 then Crush will still be the highest option.
What's Missing:
- A fully functional choice-based Cove for Step 3, please use the Cove Customization Screen to determine things for now
- The transitional narration between Steps 2 and 3
- Getting to customize the appearance of the bedroom in Step 3
Known Errors:
- Sometimes Cove is wearing the wrong clothing layer in Step 3
- Saves from the old beta or the public demo will have errors if used with the new version. Please start a brand new file!
- New events don't have voice acting for most characters yet
- If you run into any kind of error report screen, hitting the Ignore option once or twice will generally let the game continue past that point.
Thank you for sticking with us! I know the last beta build wasn't even that long ago and now there's already another to try, but this isn't going to be the final one for October either. We'll be releasing one more in another couple weeks. You're welcome to wait for that if all the betas are getting overwhelming. We hope the new content is fun for people, though ★

Ignoring it brought me to the screen you encounter when you end the beta? Ignoring it worked for other times I got a similar screen, but not this ://
2020-10-13 13:04:47 +0000 UTCI loved this moment and the relaxation, the nostalgia of how things were in certain areas(the park, end of town sign/area) were so emotional as I just flashbacked in my mind, the Step 1 and 2 moments we had there. So much time has passed by in the game, and I feel it! Not many games can do that, and of course the final product of this beautiful masterpiece is shaping up quite nicely(understatement I would say) Great job folks!
