Our Life: Now & Forever - Love Interest #1 Reveal! (Step 1)

The day we’ve waited for has come, and excitingly it's earlier than originally planned! Introducing the first baby you’ll grow up with in Our Life: Now & Forever. With the coolest bike on the block and a life-long history with the town, it’s the king of the cul-de-sac: Qiu!

Name: Qiu “Autumn” Lin

Step 1: Childhood

Hair Quirk: An unusually jagged hairline

Ethnicity: Asian (Chinese) American

Pronouns: He/Him (initially)

Qiu lives on a cozy street in a forested mountain town with his mother and father. He goes by his birthname and by the meaning of it, Autumn. He’s both well-known and well-liked. Autumn isn’t interested in being the boss, but with easy charm and confidence Qiu simply sets the pace, others follow. His charisma is strong enough that putting his mountain bike aside to don a leotard and do ballet doesn’t cause any of the other boys around to bat an eye. Even kids older than Qiu are hopeful to be a part of his crew.

The status handed to him has given Autumn a touch of an ego. He knows he’s in-demand company and considers himself a benevolent ruler of the neighborhood’s kid population. But at the end of a day, it’s nothing serious to him. Autumn’s only a thoughtful young man who wants to have fun with people he likes.

Qiu has a few quirks that everyone is familiar with him by, one is the jagged line to his hair that frames his face. The other is the notebook he’s always got on hand. Autumn is scatterbrained, needing to sort his thoughts by actually writing them down. He commonly leaves little notes for people to find when he’s got something to say. And just as often he absentmindedly loses a sheet of paper for someone to come across accidentally.

At the start of the game Qiu will welcome you to his world with open arms, happy to take you under his wing if you need looking out for. Will you be specially doted on by Mr. Popularity, or perhaps establish yourself as someone who needs no help and end up as the one kid admired by the person most other kids admire, or something else?
