Our Life: Beta Build 0.86! (PC, Mac, Android)
Added 2021-02-12 20:19:09 +0000 UTCHello! We've got the new beta today. It has the next Moment from the Step 3 DLC. There are some screen and programming changes that are pretty major in this build as well. You can definitely report to us if you run into errors with that.
Your main game saves will still be fine in the main game but they won't work in the beta! Please start a new file to try the beta content. We recommend keeping any beta saves you make on a separate page from save files made with the main game to avoid mixing them up.
New Content:
- The brand new Moment "Reflection" is playable from the Step 3 Moment select screen. It adds 15,000 words of additional content
- The Relationship Screen has been remade
- New names were added to the credits
- There's been general error fixes
What's Missing:
- Voice acting hasn't been added to the new Moments yet
- The new Moments are impacted by certain prior Moments, but we haven't implemented all the alterations to old scenes that will change if you've done them first. So if you play the beta content and then go play already released Moments, there could be things that don't make sense with the new info your player got

2021-03-07 20:51:30 +0000 UTCWhen I open it up, it does say it is the beta 0.86 version but when I load a save, or when I had reached the moment 3 steps in a new playthrough, it is almost the exact same as the game already out from what I can tell. I might just need to try a new file again so I'll give that ago. Thank you for replying :)

2021-03-07 18:15:35 +0000 UTCI'm sorry for the trouble. When you load up the game, does it say beta build 0.86 in the bottom left corner on the main menu? And when you reach the Moment selection screen in Step 3 are there a bunch of buttons that say "Beta" or is it just the usual Moment buttons? In the beta, the reflection moment doesn't have a normal button that can be locked, so I'm afraid I'm a little confused. It may be possible that you accidentally booted up the non-beta build.

It was both super cool and emotional to find out the full story of Cliff and Kyra's marriage and how Cove got his scar in that jet skiing accident! I did notice one typo while playing the moment "Reflection," I believe the second time the MC and Cove talk to Cliff. You finish talking with him the Second time, then he says "Good. Now go out you go!" I think this is probably supposed to be "Good. Now, out you go!" or "Good. Now off you go!" Only real typo I've seen in the game so far, which is super impressive XD Anyhoo, just wanted to say again how amazing these two moments are and I can't wait to play the other three and see what little things change in the original moments and the End of Summer scene because of them <3

2021-02-16 03:57:28 +0000 UTCYou only have to unzip the file! Then you'll get a folder and inside the folder will be an icon that launches the beta. You don't have to move anything around ^^. Your save files from the main game will appear in the beta, but don't load them. They'll break sooner or later. You'll need to start a brand new file just for the beta. I hope that helps.

Do I need to drag it into the game folder on my computer files? And do I need to extract it all or just leave it? I just don't want to mess up my game by moving the new files around but I don't know how to add them to the game, can someone help me?

2021-02-15 06:54:41 +0000 UTCI think that's when the picture of little cove in Halloween is supposed to appear 🤔🤔 and then it happens again in the scene where cove calls kyra after talking to cliff, the gray screen with program settings appears, I press skip several times and resume the game when they start to go back when they finish the conversation and go to the water 🤔🤔🤔

2021-02-14 04:55:12 +0000 UTChello the game is great as always. i tried last night with a new save data, I notice the game sometimes lag and does not respond when I clicked, but it never take too long to respond once again. and I've encountered the error screen once, I think when I was in the MC creator, thankfully the save data is not corrupted. cheers

In some moments, I don't know if it's normal (since it had never happened to me) but a gray screen with game settings instead of images would appear on my cell phone, but I suppose it was because the game is not complete yet xD but anyway, everything I saw very exciting, wonderful as always👌👌👍👍
