Our Life 2: Mr. B (Step 1 Sketch)

He's the quiet, distant, old fashioned, analytical type. Generally not great at relating to children, but he still cares as best he can. At least for Tamarack- or "Tambourine" as he sometimes calls her. He associates with the MC and other kids in the neighborhood as little as possible. They're treated with curt politeness, but he has no reason to interact with them on a normal day and is sure not to create any reason to change that. It's unusual for neighborhood because they're quite tight knit and social in those parts. Mr. Baumanm is a rare outlier in that sense, so he's considered a mysterious figure to the young'uns in Step 1. Before Tamarack moved in near the start of the game, all the kids could really do was speculate wildly on what he was like and what he did. If you do get the chance to know him, it turns out he's pretty cool.
