Our Life 2: Mrs. B (Step 1 Sketch)

And now we have Tamarack's second guardian- her omi/granny Mrs. Baumann!

She loves to spoil her grandchild, as well as dote on the other children in the neighborhood. They're all precious little ones. The neighborhood kids call her 'granny' and comfortably approach her as if she was their own, though Tamarack is still special by being the only who can call her 'omi'. She is always taking part in community activities, holidays, and get-togethers. Overall, a very personable lady- sometimes a little too personal. Her involvement with everyone else around can veer into nosiness and her concern for their wellbeing can come across as being judgmental. Still, she always truly has people's best interest at heart, even if it can be hard for her to accept that what they need/want may not align with what she thinks they need/want.

Mrs. Baunmann has a playful relationship with her husband, the not-terribly-sociable Mr. Baumann, by teasingly complaining about him in the many times he isn't around to hear it. But the two are very happy together and he appreciates her handling all the neighbors who come around wanting to be neighborly.
