Our Life: Patreon Bonus Moment Incomplete Beta 2 (PC, Mac, & Android)
Added 2021-06-24 18:58:48 +0000 UTC[Good news! Our programmer was able to disable changes that happened in the latest update with the game engine we use that originally broke our Android version. With that no longer a factor, we now have an Android version available to play.]
And here's the beta expansion for June! This beta build is a fair bit longer and has bug fixes from the prior version, but it's still not fully complete. There are some scenes that aren't programmed just yet. July is gonna have the true, entire Patreon Bonus Moment launch.
I hope you'll look forward to that and I also hope you enjoy what's here so far ♡.
And please do to start a new save for this new beta rather than loading a file you already had.
The bonus Moment doesn't include voice acting. Our team of actors signed up for the game itself, this kind of extra content isn't something we have the rights to use their work in.

I absolutely lost my mind because I'm not used to seeing a character with my own sexuality/sexual identity. And I love how this felt so accurate to how I am, with his not wanting to be disrespectful to MC or creep them out. I also love the dialogue and encouragement that MC has the option to give to Cove when they interact because having that kind of discussion before, the encouragement during, and the discussion after can really help you grow closer in your relationship irl. I love the whole setup and progression altogether, and I'm glad that this was made.

When Cove responded "that would be rude" I was like Yes, exactly!" I have never imagined anyone nude. It feels like something you'd need consent for. it's just the way my brain works. nudity and sex are two totally different things. demis have seen naked bodies before just from being in school and taking showers. nothing sexual flows through the mind because it's just a naked body. I never even imagined my ex fiance's naked body before I saw it. I never thought to do that because if I never thought to do it before I never would have done it in the context of being in a relationship.

I was ecstatic when the first demo came out, and when I started this one, I was as excited as can be. But ... I had a very hard time believing it was Cove. For several reasons. The fact that MC and Cove stay standing in his room is the main thing. I also feel like the mc may have the option to be a little shyer if it is in their personality. They just undress standing in front of each other in a fully lit room. It felt ... unrealistic. To me, of course. It may be because I already wrote some stuff with Cove and Mc getting "closer", and so my taste could be forever spoiled. Well, I'll play the full version before setting for a definitive opinion on the matter. Thanks for your work as always. Don't be bothered by my complaint.

I find it weird that when I choose the option to take off my MC's dress the next line after they see Cove take off his pants is them also taking off their pants. When I picture my MC wearing a dress I don't imagine them wearing pants too lol.

If you describe yourself as short, you offer cove a piggyback he declines and if you select to ask cove for a piggyback after, once you get back to the blanket, it writes you getting off coves back, and the next line is him getting off of your back. but i LOVE THE MOMENT SO FAR!!

Are there any plans to obtain voice acting rights for this? I understand your situation, but the game may feel incomplete and strange with a portion of it missing voice acting all of a sudden during a play through. This personally doesn’t affect me, but I know some may be more picky. Lol

Overall, you guys got me screaming and making sounds as I read through the scripts and options with Cove everytime. I was so nervous and excited when playing it, because I didn't expect the bedroom "exploration" to be well-done you know. 👀 it blew my expectations.

Lol and this is just one part...I'm not going to make it through the full thing. Not without a lot of blushing, squeaking, and laughing. BTW even during this he's still absolutely adorable. Also we learned something new about Cove that I wasn't expecting. I nearly died at that moment. I still haven't fully wrapped my head around it.
