Our Life Now & Forever: Music Track Sample

We now have music! This is a sample of the first track for the next Our Life game, what we're calling the "Home" theme. It's super lovely.

Also, really excitingly, our composer enjoyed how flexible things were in the OL games and wanted to work that into the soundtrack too. So he kept all seven layers of instrumentals for this song on different tracks in order to give us the freedom of including/removing notes as desired. This is the complete, most upbeat version of the Home theme but by taking certain parts out there will be alternate versions of the same core song that are softer, more reflective, and even kind of bittersweet. Layers can even be added in/taken out as a single scene continues on to match the arc of the interaction. It's gonna massively increase the variety of music in the game, despite the OST not having that many more songs than the first OL. I'm definitely looking forward to having it in action in the demo coming later this year!
