It's amazing, I'm actually writing real scenes for OL2 now! It's making me pretty reflective. I was picking out references to the prologue in OL1 and it made me remember what it was like when I was working on that game's initial demo years ago.
I remember reaching that first choice in Our Life: Beginnings & Always where you get to decide how the MC reacts to people wanting to say hi to them. Looking at that then when it was first written, thinking about the kind of choice that was and the overall choice system we had in mind, my feeling was "we've made a terrible mistake", haha. I was thinking there was no way this game was ever gonna be done, and if it did get "finished" it would be a mess or everything would feel empty/pointless. I'm so glad I kept going with it because I was wrong. The project turned out better than I could've dreamed. I guess you never know what you're capable of until you try. Me, and everyone on the team, will continue to keep trying and we'll do our best to have Our Life: Now & Forever be worth the wait!

2021-10-26 04:56:49 +0000 UTCI was here during those initial steps, being a fan of your previous games. :) You know I've been one of your chearleaders from the get go. :D I remember the excitement of waiting for that first demo to launch and see what others thought and was so thrilled by the response. It will be something to see it happen again. :)

Thank you for all the work you do (and i've been reading vns since before 2013)! I cant wait to have fun with this game. I just know im going to love it.

2021-10-25 21:27:28 +0000 UTCI loved how it truly felt like, even though there is essentially ONE story, it FEELS so different depending on your choices and how the story reflects that. I’ve never played a game or novel that let me form the MC’s character so much.
