Our Life 2: Cameo Sprite (Step 1)

If you've played our older game, XOXO Droplets, you know his general backstory because his BFF Jeremy (the same Jeremy from OL1) would talk about it sometimes. Pran would not talk about it. But there are things that even Jeremy didn't know, they met at thirteen and Pran is only eleven in his appearance here. The main deep lore of Pran that you get from this game is that as quiet as he is as a teen, that's him putting in a lot of effort because not speaking is his normal inclination and as a child he was fully non-verbal.
But as much as I like the overall story of those terrible boys, for the characters of Our Life: Now & Forever in Step 1, this kid is just a stranger and someone who won't be their friend. That's rough.

2022-02-08 04:58:17 +0000 UTCHe's fully mute currently, but it is learned behavior instilled in him rather than something he was born with. Pran started out developing speech at the pace most children do and began talking as a toddler. It was only for some years during childhood that he stopped talking entirely because of his very troubled home life (which was also his whole life because he was homeschooled). Once he had better contact with people outside his family he began to tepidly talk again. I'm sorry for the confusion!

I think it will be excellent to have a nonverbal character in the game to spread visibility and give the kids something challenging to try and accept. Looking forward to talking with this sweety.
