Note: It is missing Kyra's formal outfits so she doesn't appear on-screen during the reception and the MC cut-in image also doesn't show yet because we're still working on the programming for it.
I did try my best to test this build but the Wedding DLC ended up as one of the largest sections in the entire game and has more small alterations than any other part before. It's pretty likely that I've missed something somewhere. Please do let me know if you run into an error or weird continuity!
Save files from the main game should work with this beta build, but save files from older beta builds likely won't.
Wow. We're at the end here. This is the final Cove expansion we've got in the works (at least for the main game, it's not impossible there will be some bonus stuff someday). It's unbelievable that we've finally made it this far. But, as always, thank you for waiting and we hope you enjoy π

It was so fun! I do wanna highlight- β It'd be awesome if we had more sleeves options for the wedding dress's "sleeves", like halter or sleeveless or spaghetti strap. And also a choice regarding the neckline, like sweetheart, scoop, or plunge, etc. (I actually got married this past year so I did a ton of research on dresses before my wedding, and I still have aaallll those notes in my brain from when I went dress shopping.) β There are still some grammatical errors. Like, in the last few sentences by Cove, there's periods instead of question marks. It's very minor, and easy to miss, but thought I'd point it out. β A few of my choices didn't carry over from the Main Game (even up to S4) to the wedding dlc. For instance, when we talked about how long we were together with Baxter, Cove said we only recently got together instead of having gotten together waaaaay before that (which was my choice with the playthru I did for the Wedding DLC). β Even though I invited Shiloh, he didn't show up. β the word "None" showed up a few times for my bridesmaids/men

I know the actual DLC will be dropping soon so a lot of the previous stuff will already be fixed, but just wanted to add I had the same problem with looping that others experienced. It happened when I was telling Cove what to wear and the venue selection. When I was choosing the dress, I kept changing my mind lol and sent Gabrielle back a few times, eventually Mom made a joke about it but then her character sprite stayed on the screen. After that I could only answer the first few questions of the questionnaire, I rewound the dialogue to before Mom spoke and made up my mind so it was fine. The looping in the venue selection got very weird and eventually when I clicked on a place to preview my only option was to say "yes" to it, again I rewound and it was fine. I chose to hyphenate Cove's and MC's last names, and Baxter announced both "Cove and MC (hyphenated name)" and "Cove Holden and MC." At the flower toss, Liz caught it first, and after that no matter who else caught it Liz would appear and it would act like she caught it after they had finished speaking. At that point the game loops back to the final meeting with Baxter, but loops back every time so I haven't been able to finish the DLC yet. I'm not sure how helpful these are but I wanted to mention them and also say I literally love this game!! Stomping the glass and everyone yelling "mazel tov" made me so so happy

2022-01-28 02:50:06 +0000 UTCFound a thing. I know it's a beta so no big deal, but I planed on Lee, Mom, and Ma being my groomswomen. But the game called them all my 'None' They were super excited, but still. I'm sure it'll be fixed for the actual release, but didn't know if anyone mentioned it yet. Also maybe not a thing, not sure, Kyra was still called a groomswoman for Cove though And something I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but I told Cove about the $20 bribe in step four, and it's an option to mention it in you're vows. I thought it'd be a jokey line, but played out seriously, like I'd never told Cove about it. I rolled back and didn't tell him, but then Cliff says it in his speech to much to the same effect. I thought it'd be a kinda sweet thing (honestly someone had mentioned the line 'you're worth a million $20s' and I was kinda hoping for that if I'd told him before) and what's worse! Is I don't even get to say I took it. The whole thing makes me feel bad, like I took the money AND kept the secret, especially since I didn't take it, and didn't even keep the secret all that long... Additional thing I found. At the ceremony pretty much any line with Shiloh or Jeremy caused an error screen. If I rolled back to the choice I could try again, but they all kinda caused the crash. I could get through the dialog if I speed clicked through, but if I paused to read it's give me the error. Even speeding clicking and then scrolling back did this. I had to read everything through the log afterwords. AAAAnnnddd lastly, as Baxter to talking to Cove and my character, right at the start of the dialog section, (after the cake has been cut and enjoyed and all that) The game crashes, and this time I can't skip through and then read the log. No matter how fast I click, the error screen pops up. The 'KeyError' for all of these crashes has been u'Shiloh/Leon' And since I can't continue until this is fixed, I guess my playthrough of the wedding ends. Still really heartfelt, the bugs aside. I am sure they'll be handled of course, like I said, I realize this is still a beta.

2022-01-27 11:30:45 +0000 UTCI don't know anyone wrote about it, but I found an error. 1) I can't invite Jeremy and Shillos at the same time. 2)The error is not in the DLC but in step 4 in the option "Hey Cove, Is there anything you'd like to see me in today", there was no answer 3)it's not a mistake, but I'm curious. Why if, after rejecting step 3 and confessing step 4, does Cove react in the same way, as if it didn't happen? Will it stay that way?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this game, this DLC, all of it, and I will continue to play it, even after I finish all possible playthroughs. I'M SO EXCITED FOR OL2 AND THE OTHER OL DLCS!!!

Here are some bugs I noticed (I've played through twice now): -As some other people here have noted when I would ask people to be bridesmaids, the word would be filled in as "None" -I had an error message pop up while talking to Jeremy -There was some looping with the dialogue, the main one I remember was the very first option, when it asked me if I wanted to play the wedding DLC or not -At the wedding when I was talking to Liz, her normal Step 4 romper was visible under her dress (I hadn't picked a wedding color if that matters) Thank you so much for all your hard work, I can't wait for everything else being released this year!!!

2022-01-25 19:07:06 +0000 UTCLove. it. i spent the last 3 hours playing it (i used a save file from my latest run) and i spent a good portion of that just crying lol (all happy tears) there was a couple bugs i noticed one being that when i chose bridesmaids as my option what was actually said was "none" and it also seemed like a couple parts seem to repeat a couple lines? thats all i got to say for now lol, im gonna sleep now (5am lol) havbe a good night/morning thank you for letting me experience this beautiful game, i am excited for OL2 ^_^

2022-01-24 20:47:24 +0000 UTCI just got finished playing the epilogue and the wedding dlc and I'm in LOOOOOVE~!β‘ I did experience the same looping issue others have reported, like in the beginning of the prologue, and then in the suit selection. Also, my bridesmaids appeared as being "None". And in the epilogue I noticed that at a moment MC and Cove were dressing up for the day, I chose the dialogue option "Hey Cove, is there anything you'd like to see me in today?" And the scene skips straight to Cove saying: "Alright, let's get things going. Our families are waiting." I'm not sure if this is only in the Patreon version or if the same issue happens in the public version too, or if its an issue at all and intended to play that way, but I thought I'd mention it, as the scene and dialogue plays out very awkwardly imo. Other than that, my heart has melted, I have melted, I am now a puddle on the floor

I had the option for no bouquet toss but the bouquet toss happened anyway. liz and derek at one point had their regular clothes under their formal wear at our aquarium reception party if that helps. I also experienced an issue where my groomswomen are referred to as "None" ex: "I'm so happy you'll be my None!" but those are small issues. The only bug that really 'bugged' me was that even though i had confessed to Cove about the $20 bill, when his dad mentioned it, they all reacted as if i had kept it secret. These are not really complaints, just wanted to let you know of these issues! Thank you so much for all your hard work <3

His mouth also disappeared at one point (it was kinda funny actually). Thatβs all I remember off the top of my head. I was absolutely bawling during the vows.

2022-01-24 09:22:04 +0000 UTCaaaa I love it so much and I can find myself replaying it endlessly for all the combinations possible in the wedding! Thank you so much for your hard work! There are a few blips that I did experience: 1) After I suggest a more formal suit for Cove and finish picking the colors, it loops back to Cove asking which colors to pick and I have to go through the selections I made before proceeding 2) The next day after the first meeting when MC talks about crossing the most important things off their list, it says "...and seeing if 'None' will do the aisle walk" I'm assuming that's a stand-in because the option hasn't been made yet, but a solution could either be that the choice has to be made earlier to fill it in, or shift it to "...and seeing if a certain someone will do the aisle walk." 3) When I ask the moms, Kyra, and Lee to be in my wedding party, the text shows as "...will you be a 'None' in my wedding party?" Kyra responds with "I'd love to be a 'None'!" Essentially, the stand-ins for the wedding party titles aren't there. 4) The transition between the following meetings after the first one (save for the dance lessons) was a little... sudden? It made sense after a moment but I thought it had looped again. Not an error, just an observation! :) 5) When waiting to walk down the aisle, the line of "you straining to hear your cue over the noise" was repeated. 6) Continuity issue, but Cove reacted to the $20 in my vow like it'd been the first time he'd heard of it, even though he'd been told in Step 4 and I continued from there

2022-01-23 22:43:21 +0000 UTC1 I can't wait to play it and finally see Jeremy and Shiloh (depending on which Shiloh I get) 2 This art is amazing and I love it, I can't express how beautiful it is 3 If there will be some bonus stuff for the game after all the DLC I would totally play it, no matter how much money it cost (if it's something to pay) XD It's definitely going to be worth it and even if the ending makes me happy (because is complete as ending) I'm also sad for this to end, so if there's a continue (like a more complete NSFW version like Cove and MC Honey Moonπππ or just some Random things even with other characters, still if it means bonus part either SFW or NSFW I would definitely buy/play it)

2022-01-23 22:27:37 +0000 UTCIf you extract the folder and there's nothing to launch the game inside, it's likely a virus scanner removed it. It's entirely random when it happens, but every so often scanners think a build seems untrustworthy and either causes it to crash when playing or just gets rid of the file. Turning that off temporarily or seeing if you can make the file listed as trustworthy could fix the problem.
