Our Life: Now & Forever Prologue Beta Build 0.03! π° (PC, Mac, Android)
Added 2022-03-26 18:43:40 +0000 UTCThe Our Life: Now & Forever prologue beta is here! Until the prologue is fully complete, this is gonna be a new staple perk of Tier 2 and up on the Patreon. Unlike the Tier 3 and up Derek beta, this probably won't update every single month. New events will come around every two or three months. But you can look forward to seeing more of the OL2 prologue, and improved game features, as it slowly comes together between work on OL1.
And it starts right here with this beta that adds a few scenes after the point where the public demo stops.
Save files from the previous build won't work perfectly with this new version. Please make a new file for things to be error-free.
New Content:
- Night scenes for Prologue Day 1 and a little bit of Morning Prologue Day 2. Almost 10,000 words added overall between the many alteration branches
- More sticker options!
If you run into any issues, feel free to let me know. I really hope you'll have some fun with this update π

Would love to see if there would be an option to choose a body for Qui like the Cove creator. Be it full on trans, feminine or just manly Qui. Qui would still look perfect either way. Such a beautiful design.

I love the mom's hair and eye color, it's like a reminder of that other parent missing in their life. I love the option is always to say "I found my future spouse!" and then make it happen :)

It might just be because of how the assets are layered or something that it doesnβt register that the character still has hair under the hijab but I thought Iβd mention it.

2022-03-27 04:39:32 +0000 UTCi love the new beta build so far! but i do have a concern: i chose the NB option for my mc but when i see tamarack with qiu, whenever i introduce myself as "kind of, not actually" when she mistakes us as girls, she responds with "both girls, kind of, both girls kind of" which i believe is a mistake of scripting?

More interactions with Opal too! (Positive thinker and loving mother Opal with her shy, quiet, cold and awkward child MC is quiet funny to meβ¦. did I recreate the Cold temperament Cove and Cliff Holden dynamic?!) 3. I also got my first opportunity to βupgradeβ My relationship dynamic with Qiu which was a lovely surprise! I like the βflavoringβ it added, that Qiu saw our dynamic differently than my character was seeing it. It felt very organic!

You can see the refinement of characters and a bit more dialogue with them expressing their own selves further. I always thought the initial mini demo was great but you said, imma make it better. Thank you for incorporating the express elements and defining further how the relationship dynamics will work (in the build with your tutorial voice :) ) This has helped me flesh out the relationships even more and have a better mental image of them!
