Month Beginning Post: April 2022

[Today is technically April Fool's Day but none of the info here is a prank. It's just a normal update, haha]

Happy spring everyone!

Qiu sure is excited about it. In the actual events of Step 2, they're usually pretty unimpressed with everything so it's nice to have this lovely bonus piece where we get to see them happy 💞

I'd say our first round of having a guest art piece that supporters get to vote on went very well. We'll be doing it again this month with another poll for supporters at tier 3 and up. And if you missed it, you can see our post where we break down all the progress made in March HERE! 

Now, let's get into our development goals for April-

Monthly Content Plans:

The biggest goal I'd like to achieve is having scripts finished for both Derek Moment 2 and Derek Moment 3. One will be written by me, and the other is being written by other members of the team and then it'll be edited by me. I imagine we'll at least get very close, but actually hitting that would be ideal.

Derek's DLC beta should definitely get an update this month. It probably won't have both of those in-progress Moments programmed in, it'll just have one or the other depending on what's written first.

In between the Derek work, I'll take mental breaks by switching over to Our Life: Now & Forever for short bursts. I'm planning on programing the couple prologue scenes that were scripted in late March and maybe I'll write one or two new scenes. The OL2 beta isn't guaranteed to get an update in April. If it does, I'll be sure to post about that on our socials. 

Either way, we'll be making progress at least behind the scenes with both projects.

Thank you for reading and for all of the support in March! That was the first month of development for just Derek and OL2 and it went really well. It's always a little nerve-wracking to move on to new things so that was great to see. 

We'll keep doing our best and hopefully you'll continue to have fun with what comes out here at GB Patch Games 💞
