Question Thread: May 2022 (CLOSED)

Hello! A little while ago I posted an interest check for doing some bonus Q&A style content on the Patreon. The poll has a little time left to vote before it officially closes, but it's pretty clear it's worth at least trying out. It's been hovering between 3% and 4% who don't want it, everything else is either being interested or being fine either way. And since the month is nearing its end, I figured I'd put it into action now to give people a chance to try participating before June.

So here in this thread you can post questions about our games, characters, the company, project development status, or about me (as long as it's still in someway related to VNs/GB Patch). I'll be recording my answers in an audio file and that'll be released with a transcript near the end of the month. 

I'll try to answer everything, but if there's a high amount of questions some may not make it in this session. Questions can always be asked again next time!

And I'll probably only answer one question that's very broad/topical and so I can discuss it in more detail while still answering a good amount of smaller questions. Starting in June I may try making a poll where supporters at Tier 3 and up can vote on which bigger topic gets included for the monthly Q&A. 

Examples of less broad questions would be stuff along the lines of: "Does Y character like X thing?" or "Will Y game have X type of content?", or "What scene are you working on now?" or "What will the next beta build update include?". 

A bigger question would be something like: "How did you get into developing games professionally?", "What advice could you give for creating VNs?", "What's your favorite/least favorite VN genres?", "What can you tell us about the game that you hope to make after OL2"? 

The thread will close pretty soon, at the end of May 23rd, to make sure there's time to record everything, create, a transcript, and get past any bumps in the process of figuring out how to properly make this new type of update. Next month we'll be able to have a much bigger window for asking questions.

Hopefully this is a fun time and will help everyone feel like they're really in the loop in terms of what's going on here at GB Patch Games 💞
