This month I'll also be releasing a standalone recording that's entirely about character writing tips. It was gonna be included in the June Q&A but with how much I realized I could say about it and my big move that happened, I wasn't able to do it along with all the other answers. It is still coming, however!

Like OL1 will OL2 not delve deep into the harsh life aspects like people being homophobic or racist? I like it that way and want to make a book with a similar concepts. What made you go this route? Do you plan to make the love internet race more prominent like culture or cuisine! Or keep things ambiguous? Again no compliments I love how open and accepting these games are! OL and the bits of OL2 thus far are amazing

2022-07-17 16:20:49 +0000 UTCI downloaded the android version of the OL: N&F demo, and sometimes while playing, I get an error screen that gives me options like rollback, ignore, copy, etc. The only thing I can do is click "Ignore" a few times and then have to skip a section of game play, such as Opal showing us the second floor. Is that just a problem with me, or is it a bug in the demo?

I love to hug and be close, hold hands, etc. so for me with beta build, when it said to tug on Tamarack’s sleeve, I initially chose that because to me that was showing affection towards her. But in game it seems like it is more of your shy response.

Im an animation student/ aspiring developer, and I really like how the character sprites look in “Our Life: Beginning and Always”. I tend to have trouble converting dimensions like height (short characters looking bigger than tall characters, taller characters not actually looking very tall, etc) between art pieces and software so I was wondering if you had any advice?

That being said haha my question is: Is there a possibility that the games will be translated in other languages in the future? I'm hispanic! Or even how tall they are in step 1 when they are kids? Obviously you don’t have to answer but I just thought it would be a fun question 😅. If I'm interested in being Qiu's right-hand pal as a kid who's crushing on Qiu under the surface the whole time, any recommendation for the dynamic that would best fit that? Also, any idea if any of the OL2 characters are going to get identity changes/reveals other than Qiu and Ren as the steps progress? I really loved how that happened with Cove and Terry better understanding themselves in OL1.

I can't remember the exact years but in OL1 step 1 takes place in 2006? while OL2 step 1 takes place in 2010?? Okay actually I have no idea what years they take place in I just know Cove is a 97' baby and I'm bad at math.

Anyway, since I know a lot of people via Tumblr and even here on Patreon were gushing over the OL2 side characters, who would you personally think would be the best candidates of the cast to be possible DLC LIs? Y'know, if that chance ever does come around that us OL enthusiasts crave some more variety in our playthroughs.

I'm aware that OL's selling point is that it's pretty feel good and optimistic, but that didn't stop OL1 from having a fair share of conflict. Can we expect more or less of that for its sequel?

Now I do have a few questions about OL2 and sorry if they have already been asked and I didn't see it...With that said, is it going to be possible to have a one-sided love/crush on Tamarack or Qui or the other way around? (I know it's not really fun but quite realistic, plus it can always change and that's what's beautiful haha) Also correct me if I'm wrong but we know that Qui is going to be a dancer and that we'll also be able to be one if we want. Does that mean that we will potentially have a scene where we could dance together and communicate our feelings for them through dance and not words ? feeling the proximity and connection (sensuality ..you know it...a movie-like romance scene haha)(or just confort, if we're upset for whatever reason) hum hum anyway, and the same with Tamarack through music? Sorry it's a bit long, thank you again for your hard work and answering my questions if you do ! (I hope it's not too incomprehensible) Bye bye !

Like OL2's MC is 10 years old in step 1, while Cove and the other MC are 8 in their step 1.
