Cove Wedding Night Patreon Bonus Moment Announcement!

I've been hedging people's hopes on this for a long time, but it was always my goal to make it happen as long as an interest remained after the last of the proper DLCs released. And now I can finally say that we are actually making one more story with Cove Holden, or whatever last name you went with for your married life. That's because an 18+ Wedding Night Bonus Moment is currently in development! 🎉🎉🎉
I've completed the draft, the script is in-progress, and almost all the extra art being done for it is finished already.
Turns out Cove appearing in this month's guest art wasn't for no reason after all, haha. Now here's some details on the logistics-
When will it come out?
August is when we're aiming for a full release, or at the minimum a full beta build will be available. July might get a partial beta just for fun, if there's time. I'll be on my vacation that month, so I can't be sure how much programming I'll get done.
How will Patreon supporters get it?
There will two methods. Once this is done, Tier 2, the "Fans" tier, will begin to rotate Patreon Bonus Moments. Odd numbered months will have the Step 3 Patreon Bonus Moment as a perk, while even numbered months will give backers the Step 4 Patreon Bonus Moment. That way you can still get it on Tier 2 as long as you do it at the right time.
However, Tier 3, "Insiders", and up will include both bonus Moments all the time. If you don't want to wait in order to get access to both the OL1 Patreon Bonus scenes, you can simply go for that.
Will the mature content be skippable?
Yes! You can get romantically intimate at the same level as the actual game and not progress into the fully explicit parts, or you can choose not to participate in any physical contact. Skipping content will make the story shorter, however there's still fun/cute stuff to do besides the sex scene.
Will I be able to add it to my Steam/Itch/GOG version of Our Life?
No. The Bonus Moment will be downloadable as an entirely separate build and you won't be able to merge it with the main game.
Will it include voice acting?
Nope. We don't use the VAs voices in these mature side stories that aren't part of the actual game.
Is Our Life: Now & Forever still the main game in development?
Yeah! Making this happen doesn't change that. I always like having something on the backburner. Since OL2 moved to the front, there's room for this on the backend. I can get my portion of the work finished while taking needed breaks from OL2. And Bonus Moments like these are significantly smaller than a full-sized DLC.
Are there going to be even more OL1 Patreon Bonus Moments in the future then?
I'm afraid not. This is the final piece of Our Life: Beginnings & Always content I'll be putting my time into. When this is finished, a non-Our-Life series game will become my backburner project. I refer to it as Project W and I'm very excited to give more time to that. Once I can share details with you in a year or two, I think you'll understand where I'm coming from in wanting to move onto something new. It's a pretty fantastic concept, if I do say so myself.
