Patreon Tags
Added 2018-10-01 09:36:35 +0000 UTCWe've gotten to work adding lots of information to check out here and we'll continue having plenty of stuff to post. Because of that we're putting up this quick explanation for what the major tags mean.
General: A general post will include fundamental details about one of our projects. Whether it be about the story, characters, or gameplay. There are a lot of these happening right now, though once we've added all the basics about our current projects there won't be much more of this kind of post for quite awhile. Not until a new game comes along.
Update: Update posts will go over what's new or any progress that's been made. This kind of post will become much more common once we're done getting all the general posts made.
Patreon Info: This will be used for posts that detail how things are going to work with our Patreon and any changes related to tiers and other such stuff.
Announcement: This is for posts with pretty major news, like the release date for a current project or the announcement of a brand new game.
Content: Rather than a full update or explanation like with other types, these posts will be just quick looks into some kind of game material. It could be art, music, script samples, whatever.
Beta Builds: These will be posts that include a link to download the current beta of one of our projects.
Influencer Gift: This kind of post will be used to give out the special monthly gift for those backing at the $20 tier. The gift will only be available for one month. After that a new gift will become available and the old gift will be removed.
Along with these major tags that separate posts by categories, there will also be descriptive tags. The description tags are all pretty self-explanatory so they're not listed here. Some examples are; story, gameplay, demo, the name of a project, etc.
