Our Life: Cove Personality Alignment Chart

Like the MC, Cove can grow and develop in many different ways based on the choices made by the player.

At his core Cove is an individual who loves the sea and enjoys being alone at least as much as being with others, often times he likes being alone more. That never changes. But how he expresses those sentiments can be highly influenced. 

He starts in the middle of the chart. As time goes on he can end up on any point along an arrow, somewhere between two arrows, or stay right in the center.

Cold/Warm:

Those measure how he talks to others. 

A colder Cove will be less emphatic towards people and less expressive. He’ll stoically tell others he’s not interested in associating with them. He’ll have a subtle, gentle way of showing affection to those he cares for. 

A warmer Cove will know that he’s not very social but he’ll have come to appreciate other people and he'll hold concern for their feelings. He’ll phrase things a friendly way and try to make others feel comfortable around him. He’s extra expressive and upbeat with those he cares about. 

No matter what he’ll still get nervous/awkward towards the MC if he has romantic feelings for them. 

Studious/Sporty:

These measure where his passions are. 

A studious Cove will lose much of his childhood energy. Rather than running around outside, he’ll spend more time inside and take things much slower. He’ll focus on learning about the facts of what he loves.

A sporty Cove will throw himself into his active hobbies. He’ll be outside as much as possible and work on excelling on one or more beach based sports. 

How much he changes increases with every Step. In Step 1 he's the most neutral version of himself, In Step 2 you'll be able to pick up on subtle changes (or be able to tell that he's basically still the same), by Step 3 it will be very clear what direction he's gone in/stayed in, and at Step 4 everything major about his life will have been determined by where he fell on that chart.
