In most situations she'll still appear as a headshot only in the textbox, but we may end up having events from the perspective of other characters. In those situations JB will be against the background with a thigh-up sprite like the other people.
JB's casual outfit has a few callbacks to the original XOXO Droplets. She has a ribbon necklace in reference to the actual ribbon she used to wear and the outfit features pale green, yellow, and purple which were the GUI colors of the OG game.

I'm afraid not. You can't control what JB wears in this game, since there are too many CGs for us to make outfit alterations for them. But she doesn't wear the hat most of the time.
