Special XOXO Droplets Announcement!

Hello!

We've got some good news for everyone. If XOXO Blood Droplets and XOXO Reunion wasn't enough jerk content for you, we've got yet another XOD related project in the works. Amazing, aha. 

The OG XOXO Droplets is getting a revamped version! It will have brand new character art, CGs, and interface, improvements to the scripts, at least a few brand new scenes, and the main change is that it will be a pure Visual Novel as opposed to a dating sim/point management game. We're doing this because we'd like to release XOD on Android some time down the road, but the way we made the gameplay elements could never be properly formatted for that. Also, there are many people who've never been able to experience the joys of romancing assholes because they won't play stat raisers. With this second version we'll be able to spread the good word of terrible boys to even more people.

The reason the art is being updated is so we can more easily set the two apart. Dating sim XOXO Droplets will still always be around for those who want to play it instead. One downside is that the new art is much more time consuming to finish. Because of that we're going to have to massively cut the amount of outfits each boy has. Most notably, they're going from six casual outfits to just one. There will be polls on which outfit will survive. The store-based side characters are being left out as well. Without the gameplay their presence in the game is very small and it would be awkward to try fitting the few events they did have into the flow of the story. Lucas will still be around at least, since his events weren't gameplay based.

On the plus side, the new art will mean we can give each boy at least one full CG, instead of only chibi ones.

And, more good news, those who already have the full version of the dating sim version will be able to claim a key to the VN version for free!

Shiloh's sprite was already done as a test, so here's a look at what the new version has in store.
