Month End Post: September 2024 Wrap-Up

Another month of 2024 is over. We're already in the final stretch of the year! It's been a busy few weeks lately. I've tried to keep up with it all, though I fell off with some stuff. Let's get into what ended up happening-
Monthly Content Summary:
This was my birthday month so I took a bit of extra time off than usual. There was also an open position at GB Patch Games during September. Not only did I go over all the resumes sent, but I spent multiple hours each week doing interview calls. The role is for a new full-time community manager! That position hasn't been filled yet, though I have closed the job post. I'm considering the applications I have already and am no longer accepting new ones.
I still tried to keep up with normal development as much as possible. Writing and programming did get done.
16,500 words were drafted, 29,300 words got written, for a total of 45,800 words for September. That could've been worse! And this progress brought me to finishing the Step 2 prologue script and drafting the first Step 2 Moment. The teenage years are truly beginning to exist ✨ .
10,800 words were programmed. That was for Part 1 of Day 1 of the Step 2 Prologue. That got released as a beta. Though, there's a chunk of about 3,000 words in the beta that had an incomplete CG in the scene. I couldn't add expression changes to the CG, so I don't count that as truly "programmed" even though it's currently playable in the beta.
And there's been some other business related stuff that's been worked on lately.
