Month End Post: October 2024 Wrap-Up

This has been quite a month here at GB Patch Games. A bunch of progress was made. I'm gonna get right into it-
Monthly Content Summary:
I've officially hired a community manager! You'll get to talk to her soon. But don't worry, I'll still be around, especially here on Patreon. I intend to continue doing all the posts and comment/DM replies myself. The community manager will help more in the discord and with our public social media. Though, we'll talk about what to expect in the future tomorrow.
In October I almost finished writing the first Moment for Step 2. I need literally one more day to wrap it up. I did fully draft a second Moment and put together some general concepts for multiple others.
It amounted to 33,050 words written and 20,500 drafted. So, a total of 53,550 words! How did that happen? Well, usually having a day where I do 3,000+ words is a rare occasion. I expect it maybe two or three times a month. This time around, I had nine 3,000+ days. That's massive, and it's not the only area that had a lot of progress.
25,185 words were programmed. That was adding Tamarack's completed CG scene, Trick or Treat Part 2, and Qiu's Step 2 introduction scene. Both of those came out in betas here on Patreon. There's never been a double-sized update for OL2 in a single month. It was very exciting.

Wow, good job to me and the team. I hope that this isn't a one-off event. Ideally, this is the start of a new precedent and the script/programming will progress faster than it had before. We'll have to wait and see what happens in November. I'll talk to you then. Thank you for reading π
