Month End Post: March 2025 Wrap-Up

March has come to an end, folks. 🌷 This month, we saw tons of new content for the GB world: new merch, a guest artist call, March Madness, and more! Read on for all of the juicy details.

Monthly Content Summary:

We started the month off with the launch of our latest merch item: a Cove Holden pin set! Two pins are included: A teary Step 1 Cove pin and an interactive Step 3 Cove pin, with a window that you can slide to reveal his incredibly cute face. (No bias here at all!) These will be available until the end of the day TODAY (March 31st), so if you’ve been waiting to grab ‘em, now is your last chance! 

In mid-March, we announced a new call for guest artist applications. This call does not close, so if you’re just seeing this now and would like to apply, feel free to DM us on any of our social accounts! We’d love to see your work and vision for Our Life content. Here’s a quick summary of the call info.

On the 19th, we started the first round of Our Life March Madness! This tournament has the Our Life: Beginnings & Always Moments (base-game Moments only) facing off against each other! Each day, the community has been voting in a new round for their favorite Moment, and we are currently in the heat of quarterfinals. Keep an eye on our socials for polls and winner updates – you can see the quarterfinal bracket update here.



Finally, Our Life was featured in GameSpot’s “25 Best Free PC Games to Play In 2025” article. How cool is that? If you’d like to check it out, you can do so here!

As for game development news: GB continued to work hard on the next round of Moments this month. She had planned to have Homecoming fully wrapped up, as well as the outline completed for Scavenger Hunt. Unfortunately, she is battling the flu at the moment and has noted that she is unlikely to reach that goal – but hopes to have it done as soon as she’s feeling better.

The majority of this month was spent programming the Step 1 Moment, Home. GB notes that if this Moment was normal-sized, it would be wrapped by now, but this one is particularly large. It currently rests at 50K words. (OMG!) By the 31st, it had been almost entirely finished.

 And yesterday, a new Patreon beta build was released! It includes almost all of Home.
