2025-01-15 20:07:00 +0000 UTCI think because I started reading the Chronicles when I was like 9, I think, I was in single digits... but once you know who Claudia represented to Anne Rice it hits harder but you also know that no matter how it's spun, Claudia will always have to die. This is by far the best spin put on it, rivaling Anne herself... blasphemous, I know, but the writers need awards coming out their asses, fr. They're still weaving almost an entirely new Chronicle which is mind blowing for me. This is a series that started in 1976 and nobody could touch it. They've modernized it, gave it more ooomph. It's a masterclass in how to properly pay respect while still changing it just enough to make it enjoyable for people like me that know the books inside and out.
