[WOTD] Bonnie redesign - Part 2: Presentation

In this post, I'm going to present the new design of the adorable Bonnie and also talk a little about the plans I have for her in the remake. As I mentioned in the previous post, unfortunately, I can't show many images here, but they will be shared on the Discord server.

As I mentioned in the last post, Bonnie is an adorable, innocent, cheerful, and curious girl. When creating her original design, I had in mind that her appearance should also evoke a sense of wanting to protect her. Additionally, she should have some physical similarities with her older sister, Jill. Her haircut and big blue eyes are defining physical traits of Bonnie, so it was clear that I wanted to keep and improve on those aspects in the redesign.

Now it's time to present the new Bonnie, the owner of your "diabetes"!

Bonnie Redesign

As I mentioned earlier, I can't show too many images of Bonnie here, but I’ll do so on the Discord server in an exclusive chat for Patreons in the Angel tier.

Here is a comparison between the new design and the old one.

Although her pupils may look quite different, they’re actually quite similar to the original when you take a close look at the comparison. The details and the center of the pupil are the most drastic changes, and I hope you like them a lot. It’s not that Bonnie now has a connection to the "night" or astronomy as a hobby; the changes are simply to make her look more adorable and to avoid too much repetition between designs.

As you can see, I’ve added two beauty marks on her booty beauty, and also one on her left calf.
Regarding her skin, I focused on making it look softer and pinker. I adjusted her physique to achieve a result more in line with what the character should represent, so to speak.

Jill is very responsible and strict with Bonnie in many ways, especially in terms of dental care. So, Bonnie brushes her teeth at least twice a day and can hardly eat sweets or candy, which means her teeth are in very good shape, and she still hasn’t lost her baby fangs.
I can also reveal here that Yuri will have a similar change in her teeth: I’ll give her two fangs bigger than Bonnie’s, which will be a new characteristic of her character.

Another important change is that Bonnie now has big, round, and "squeezable" cheeks.

Being a chubby-cheeked girl will be something mentioned more than once in the new story, and probably Rachel or Yuri will play around with this a lot.

As for the game’s story, I must highlight that Bonnie and Clyde’s relationship will progress at a much slower pace. I mean, all relationships will progress slower, but in the original story, Bonnie and Clyde’s relationship developed in a somewhat irregular way. Now their relationship will not only "simmer" but also take a new direction.

By "new direction", I mean that Bonnie will be much more innocent yet curious, further separating her personality from Yuri's. Previously, at certain moments, they shared some consciously provocative behaviors, and it was Yuri who, in some way, encouraged or helped Bonnie act that way or become aware of certain things. It’s not that this will be entirely removed, but I’ll move it further along in the story, especially if you follow the harem route, of course.

Another change to mention is that I will remove the canonical (or mandatory) kiss between Bonnie and Yuri. They have a strong bond and are inexperienced in love, which is why I included that scene in a way that couldn't be avoided. As I mentioned before, I’ll likely push this further into the story, and it will only happen in the harem route. If you follow Bonnie’s individual route, she will never kiss Yuri, and vice versa.

In summary, Bonnie will not only look more adorable and innocent now, but she will also act that way. With Clyde’s guidance, she will discover many things about love and experience new sensations or feelings slowly and carefully.

En este post voy a presentarles el nuevo diseño de la adorable Bonnie y también les hablaré un poco sobre los planes que tengo para ella en el remake. Como anticipé en el post anterior, lamentablemente no puedo mostrar muchas imágenes por aquí, pero las mismas serán compartidas en el servidor de Discord.

Como mencioné en el post anterior, Bonnie es una chica adorable, inocente, alegre y curiosa. Al momento de crear su diseño original, tenía en mente que su aspecto debería generar también un sentimiento de querer protegerla. Además, debería tener algunas similitudes físicas con su hermana mayor, Jill. Su corte de cabello y sus grandes ojos azules son características físicas que definen a Bonnie, así que era indudable que buscaría mantener y mejorar esos aspectos en el rediseño.

Rediseño de Bonnie

Como mencioné un poco más arriba, no puedo mostrar muchas imágenes de Bonnie aquí, pero lo haré dentro del servidor de Discord en un chat exclusivo para los Patreons del tier Angel.

Aquí hay una comparación entre el nuevo diseño y el antiguo.

Si bien sus pupilas parecen muy diferentes, en realidad se asemejan bastante a las originales cuando observas bien la comparativa. Los detalles y el centro de la pupila son el cambio más drástico, y espero que les guste mucho. No es que ahora Bonnie tenga una relación con la "noche" o la astronomía como hobby; los cambios son para que se vea más adorable y también para evitar repetir demasiado entre diseños.

Como podrán observar, agregué dos lunares en su bonito trasero, y también uno en su pantorrilla izquierda.
En cuanto a su piel, me enfoqué en que se viera más suave y rosada. Modifiqué su fisionomía para lograr un resultado más acorde con lo que el personaje debe representar, por decirlo de alguna manera.

Jill es muy responsable y estricta con Bonnie en muchos sentidos, especialmente en el cuidado bucal. Así que Bonnie se lava los dientes mínimo dos veces al día y casi no puede comer dulces o golosinas, por lo que sus dientes están en muy buen estado y aún no se le han caído los colmillos de leche.
Puedo anticipar aquí también que Yuri tendrá un cambio similar en sus dientes: le agregaré dos colmillos más grandes que los de Bonnie, y será una nueva característica del personaje.

Otro cambio importante es que ahora Bonnie tiene mejillas grandes, redondas y "apretables".

El ser una chica cachetona será algo que se mencionará más de una vez en la nueva historia, y probablemente Rachel o Yuri jugarán bastante con esto.

En cuanto a la historia del juego, debo destacar que la relación entre Bonnie y Clyde avanzará a un ritmo mucho más lento. Quiero decir, todas las relaciones avanzarán más lento, pero en la historia original, la relación entre Bonnie y Clyde se desarrollaba de forma un poco irregular. Ahora su relación no solo se "cocinará" a fuego lento, sino que también tomará una nueva dirección.

Con "nueva dirección" me refiero a que Bonnie será mucho más inocente pero a la vez curiosa, separando más su personalidad de la de Yuri. Antes, en algunos momentos, compartían ciertas actitudes conscientemente provocativas, y era Yuri quien, de alguna manera, incitaba o ayudaba a que Bonnie se comportara así o tomara conciencia de ciertas cosas. No es que esto se elimine del todo, pero lo trasladaré más adelante en la historia, especialmente si sigues la ruta harem, por supuesto.

Otro cambio a mencionar es que eliminaré el beso canónico (u obligatorio) entre Bonnie y Yuri. Ellas tienen un vínculo muy fuerte y son inexpertas en el amor, por eso incluí esa escena de manera que no se podía evitar. Probablemente, como mencioné antes, trasladaré esto más adelante en la historia y solo sucederá en la ruta harem. Si sigues la ruta individual de Bonnie, ella jamás se besará con Yuri, y viceversa.

En resumen, ahora Bonnie no solo se verá más adorable e inocente, sino que también actuará de esa manera. De la mano de Clyde, irá descubriendo muchas cosas acerca del amor y experimentando nuevas sensaciones o sentimientos de manera lenta y cuidadosa.

Cuando termine con el rediseño de Bonnie, haré una encuesta para que ustedes elijan cuál será la siguiente chica en ser rediseñada. Las opciones serán Yuri, Jill y Siri.
