[WOTD] Yuri redesign - Part 1: Concept

You voted, and Yuri will be the next girl to be redesigned!

With over 100 votes counted, Yuri took the victory. Jill came in second, and Siri placed third. That will be the order in which I’ll present the upcoming designs, and I’ll try to include the new designs for Yuri and Jill this month.

This is the first post of the redesign process and, unlike Bonnie's process, I’ll be able to share images or references normally here.

As you may remember, Yuri is a girl whose personality blends aspects of Siri and Rachel. Unlike her best friend, Bonnie, Yuri is neither innocent nor introverted. She has a more extroverted and laid-back personality, yet also more "strong-willed" which is evident, for example, when she punches Vicky in one of the latest versions.

As for her appearance, her drill twintails are something very iconic about her. This hairstyle also allows me to give her that "adorable girl" touch, although Yuri has a more developed body and proportions compared to Bonnie and even her other classmates.

Her twintails won’t be changed; I plan to keep their length and thickness more or less the same as in the original design.

However, I will change her bangs. Originally, Yuri doesn’t have bangs, with a hairstyle very similar to Takagi-san’s. However, I’m going to add "more hair" to the front so her forehead isn’t as exposed, which will also style her look a bit more.

Back to the topic of her body and proportions, Yuri will remain taller than Bonnie but shorter than Siri and the other girls. Regarding her chest, it will still be larger than Bonnie’s and Siri’s but smaller than the other girls’.

I want to give Yuri a new "aura" enhancing some of her already existing traits. She will now be more playful, though not as much as Rachel, and also more provocative and sexy, but not as much as Siri. Additionally, I want her to retain a touch of cuteness and tenderness, though not as much as Bonnie or Alune.

As for her backstory, almost nothing will change, though I’ll add a few new details that I hadn’t originally planned. Her relationships with other characters won’t change either. Yuri will still be Bonnie’s best friend and see Jill as an older sister. She will continue to have a strained relationship with her mother, and I’ll include flashback scenes showing that she didn’t have a good relationship with her older brother either. This will be an important factor in understanding her loyalty to Clyde.

In summary, I won’t be making any drastic changes to Yuri, and I’ll keep her signature and unique hairstyle. However, there will be adjustments to make her look prettier and sexier. Let’s also remember that Yuri is one of the most popular girls at her school, so she should have features that are generally considered attractive, so to speak.

Oh, and one more important thing, I'm giving Yuri two big fangs, and that will be a new character trait or attribute.

¡Ustedes eligieron, y Yuri será la siguiente chica en ser rediseñada!

Con más de 100 votos computados, Yuri se ha llevado la victoria. Jill quedó en segundo puesto y Siri en el tercero. Ese será el orden en el que presentaré los próximos diseños, e intentaré que este mes se incluyan los nuevos diseños de Yuri y Jill.

Este es el primer post del proceso de rediseño y, a diferencia del proceso de Bonnie, aquí podré compartir imágenes o referencias con normalidad.

Como recordarán, Yuri es una chica que, de alguna manera, fusiona un poco las personalidades de Siri y Rachel. A diferencia de su mejor amiga, Bonnie, Yuri no es inocente ni introvertida. Ella tiene una personalidad más extrovertida y relajada, pero a la vez más "fuerte", lo que se demuestra, por ejemplo, cuando le da un puñetazo a Vicky en una de las últimas versiones.

En cuanto a su apariencia, sus "drill twintails" son algo muy icónico en ella. Este peinado, además, me permite darle ese toque de "chica adorable", aunque Yuri tiene un cuerpo y proporciones más desarrolladas en comparación con Bonnie e incluso con sus otras compañeras de clase.

Sus coletas no serán modificadas; planeo que mantengan más o menos la misma longitud y densidad que en el diseño original.

Eso sí, cambiaré su flequillo. Originalmente, Yuri no tiene flequillo, con un peinado muy similar al de Takagi-san. Sin embargo, voy a agregarle "más cabello" al frente para que su frente no se vea tan expuesta, y así estilizar su look un poco más.

Volviendo al asunto de su cuerpo y proporciones, Yuri seguirá siendo más alta que Bonnie, pero más baja que Siri y las demás chicas. En cuanto a sus pechos, seguirán siendo más grandes que los de Bonnie y Siri, pero más pequeños que los del resto de las chicas.

Quiero darle a Yuri una nueva "aura", potenciando algunas de sus características ya existentes. Ahora será más bromista, aunque sin llegar al nivel de Rachel, y también más provocativa y sexy, pero no tanto como Siri. Además, quiero que mantenga un toque adorable y tierno, aunque no tanto como Bonnie o Alune.

En cuanto a su trasfondo, no cambiará casi nada, aunque agregaré algunos detalles nuevos que anteriormente no tenía planeados.

Las relaciones con los demás personajes tampoco cambiarán. Yuri seguirá siendo la mejor amiga de Bonnie y considerará a Jill como una hermana mayor. No se llevará bien con su madre, e incluiré escenas tipo flashback donde se muestre que tampoco tenía una buena relación con su hermano mayor. Esto será un factor importante para entender su lealtad hacia Clyde.

En resumen, no haré cambios radicales con Yuri y mantendré su tan característico y singular peinado. Sin embargo, habrá modificaciones para que se vea más bonita y sexy. Recordemos también que Yuri es una de las chicas más populares de su colegio, por lo que debe tener rasgos que, generalmente, se consideran atractivos, por decirlo de alguna manera.

Ah, y una cosa más importante, le daré a Yuri dos colmillos grandes, y ese será un nuevo rasgo o atributo del personaje.
