[WOTD] Yuri redesign - Part 2: Presentation

This is part 2 of the redesign process for Yuri. Since more than 100 votes were counted in the poll to decide the next redesign, I decided to make this post public. I hope you all like it! ❤

As I explained in the first post, Yuri’s drill twintails hairstyle is iconic and a defining characteristic of her, adding that touch of cuteness she needs. Obviously, I wasn’t going to change the pink color of her hair and eyes either, though, as you may have seen in the other redesigns, I might slightly adjust the tone of those colors.

In the remake, I’ll be slightly altering Yuri’s personality since I plan for her to be a bit more provocative and playful than before. These changes will be accompanied by a design that highlights or emphasizes these traits in Yuri. In a way, I want her to look more "refined" and "sexy" in her own style. However, I don't plan on changing her backstory or her relationships with the other girls.

At the moment, I'm unsure how to develop Yuri’s love for the guitar, but it's something I’ll definitely keep as part of her character.

With that said, here’s the new Yuri!

Yuri Redesign

Here is a comparison between the new design and the old one.

It’s immediately noticeable that she now looks more beautiful and sexy than before, not just in her new facial features, but also in her body and proportions.

Yuri was the only girl (referring to the original designs) who had two large fangs, but this was purely an aesthetic choice, something that many may not have known. Now, her best friend Bonnie will also have visible fangs at certain moments. As for Yuri, her fangs will now be even bigger, and this time they won’t just be an aesthetic detail, as they will have a certain significance or reason for being.

To explain it briefly, Yuri likes her fangs, and as her romantic relationship with Clyde progresses, she’ll discover that she enjoys/excites herself by biting him with them, like a vampire.

Additionally, I plan for Yuri to be the girl who is best... "at using her feet", so to speak. Her feet are slightly larger than Bonnie’s, considering that Bonnie will be the girl with the smallest feet.

In part 3 of this process, I’ll show you Yuri’s new outfits. But, as you may have seen here, I already have the new uniform ready that she and Bonnie will wear for their school.

Once I finish Yuri’s redesign, it will be Jill’s turn. Since I’ve made great progress with her, I hope to present her before the end of the month.

Esta es la segunda parte del proceso de rediseño de Yuri. Ya que se contaron más de 100 votos en la encuesta para decidir el próximo rediseño, decidí hacer pública esta publicación. ¡Espero que les guste! ❤

Como expliqué en la primera publicación, el peinado de Yuri con dos coletas es icónico y una característica definitoria de ella, agregando ese toque de ternura que necesita. Obviamente, tampoco iba a cambiar el color rosa de su cabello y ojos, aunque, como habrán visto en los otros rediseños, podría ajustar ligeramente el tono de esos colores.

En el remake, alteraré ligeramente la personalidad de Yuri, ya que planeo que sea un poco más provocativa y juguetona que antes. Estos cambios estarán acompañados de un diseño que resalte o enfatice estos rasgos en Yuri. En cierto modo, quiero que se vea más "refinada" y "sexy" en su propio estilo. Sin embargo, no planeo cambiar su historia de fondo ni sus relaciones con las otras chicas.

Por el momento, no estoy seguro de cómo desarrollar el amor de Yuri por la guitarra, pero es algo que definitivamente mantendré como parte de su personaje.

Dicho esto, ¡aquí está la nueva Yuri!

Rediseño de Yuri

Aquí hay una comparación entre el nuevo diseño y el antiguo.

Inmediatamente se nota que ahora se ve más hermosa y sexy que antes, no solo en sus nuevos rasgos faciales, sino también en su cuerpo y proporciones.

Yuri era la única chica (haciendo referencia a los diseños originales) que tenía dos colmillos grandes, pero esto era puramente una elección estética, algo que muchos quizás no sabían. Ahora, su mejor amiga Bonnie también tendrá colmillos visibles en ciertos momentos. En cuanto a Yuri, sus colmillos ahora serán aún más grandes, y esta vez no serán solo un detalle estético, ya que tendrán cierto significado o razón de ser.

Para explicarlo brevemente, a Yuri le gustan mucho sus colmillos, y a medida que avanza su relación romántica con Clyde, descubrirá que disfruta/se excita mordiéndolo con ellos, como un vampiro.

Además, planeo que Yuri sea la chica que mejor sepa... "usar los pies", por así decirlo. Sus pies son un poco más grandes que los de Bonnie, considerando que Bonnie será la chica con los pies más pequeños.

En la parte 3 de este proceso, les mostraré los nuevos outfits de Yuri. Pero, como habrán visto aquí, ya tengo listo el nuevo uniforme que ella y Bonnie usarán para su escuela.

Una vez que termine el rediseño de Yuri, será el turno de Jill. Como he avanzado mucho con ella, espero presentarla antes de fin de mes.
