November 2017 - Game Update #2

I wanted a system in the game for certain damages to heal enemies or allies. This used to be in RPG Maker before the version I am using to make the game. I have no idea why it was taken out, but it was. I found a code to implement it, the workaround isn't tedious but I wish it wasn't necessary.

Elemental Absorbtion

I wanted a system in the game for certain damages to heal enemies or allies. This used to be in RPG Maker before the version I am using to make the game. I have no idea why it was taken out, but it was. I found a code to implement it, the workaround isn't tedious but I wish it wasn't necessary. Either way it's been tested, debugged, and works.

This code was made by the awesome Yanfly who does not ask for royalties or  have a licensing system, merely credit.

Undead State

The second thing I've done is add a zombie/undead state to the game. This way enemies and allies can take damage from healing while undead. Enemies like vampires can Enthrall allies, making them ghouls that do their whim and are considered undead. Things like that. They heal from darkness based damage as well. I have no fully bug tested this and need to work it in conjunction with the elemental absorption system.

This code was linked in a forum post. I have no idea who the original creator is.

Other then that the game's going slowly if at all. I do have some artwork and screens I can show though.

This is without any of the in game assest, animations, characters, light filters, clouds, and such, but should give you the idea. You may notice the bottom right is entirely unfinished. The entire map is in game, I assure you.

Since 2012? Goodness, that's a lot of energy you've put into this project then, impressive! That certainly requires a lot of commitment. o.o And I'm looking forward to meeting Gardahn someday, then. He does look promising, no doubt. ~

Thank you, yeah I've been working on this game, mainly story wise since 2012 and I really do want to finish it. And thanks about Gardahn hehe, he is one of the dateable main characters hehehe.

While not having much of a clue when it comes to the technical terms of RPG building and such, it's wonderful to hear you're making some small steps forward! To work on one particular project over a long course of time alone can be difficult, so I have to congratulate you for achieving such impressive results. - Oh, and I have to say Gardahn looks quite, quite nice. I'd certainly like to make his acquaintance at some point. :3
