Sennheiser HD560S - unboxing & first impressions

I am not sure if my unit doesn't have some left-right imbalance, and if I shouldn't ask for replacement before doing my final review.
The HD560S is a natural and very detailed sounding punchy sounding headphone. Bass and mids are pretty flat just treble seems a bit over the top. Reducing 5khz by some dB improves the sound a lot IMO.

You won’t reach rock concert levels, but it’s definitely doable. Also depends on the phone. The IPhone 6S had more powerful output than the iPhone 6

I loved the DT880, it's the least offensive on treble from the DTs and hit my liking. I was wondering if you could give a detailed opinion on that comparison, as I'm considering making purchases soon. Thanks and glad to see you back on headphones reviews.

2020-10-15 10:53:10 +0000 UTCMuch bigger difference then i expected. I ordered the beyerdynamic dt990pro 250 ohm because i want something with more sparkle and openness. My 58x can get a little boring sometimes. Also i think its better for gaming. I play a lot of competitive overwatch where hearing positions is super important. Unfortunatly the pair i received had no bass on the left side so i returned it. I should get the new one tommorow.
