Gimme bass...

Many seem to prefer some stronger lower bass emphasis compared to my neutral tuning which I wanted to make sound really "flat" with no real emphasis. But as everyone has his own bass preferences I wanted to show some ways how you can still model the bass to some degree without affecting the overall balance too much:

The first 2 filters are responsible for the bass response. First filter adjusts the overall bass amount, while the 2nd filter is responsible for the transition between bass and mids and mostly affects upper bass. It can be necessary to adjust the 3rd filter as well to get a better balance with mids as both  bass filters act in a very broad range and can get too much influence on upper frequencies.

My new setting boosts bass below 100Hz while still keeping the overall balance of the "neutral tuning" as good as possible. You shouldn't notice much of a difference except some stronger emphasis below 80Hz compared to neutral.

Here the mainstream bass setting and Harman overlaid as well:

Let me know if this gives you some improvement or if you would prefer even more lower bass. The new setting "neutral + lowbass boost" sounds still pretty natural to me, while mainstream can be already a bit boomy, not even talking about Harman which is just too much.
