Greetings from Croatia
Added 2022-11-03 08:23:28 +0000 UTCHi everyone, I hope you are having a great time just like me. We extended our stay in Croatia due to the great weather which makes us feel as if it was still a bit of summer in November.
I started to add all my old playlists to both Spotify and Deezer among Apple Music thanks to a friend who offered me a guest Deezer account. I already covered my first 11 playlists which you can find here and I will add all others as soon as I manage.
As you can see from the image I took my Free Pro 2 with me. I invested some hours before leaving to update my tuning based on my recent findings and will try to optimise it further after return. I will also buy some further recent units to have a better idea of how much they differ from my initial samples and based on this I will try finding some better average for the upcoming tuning which should hopefully offer a smoother and more neutral result over all units. It will be only a compromise though, as I cannot make different sounding units sound equally decent, sample variation is simply too high for critical tuning approaches.
I also took the UBoom L with me which did a really great job so far although my wife doesn’t like the outdoor mode due to too much bass. Even indoor mode sounds too bassy for her. I still wonder how many may prefer even more bass than this haha

I don't really think that the stock recording quality is that great.It's ok, but not amazing. I still don't know how to do tuning that well just based on pink noise, but still, I'm trying my best and soon I'll tune a dsp too for a speaker project.:some hi-fi boombox/Indoor speaker, with carefully adjusted volume curve and frequency response. Quite a premiere for me. So, yeah.I wanna start the binaural recording world for me.
