February Situation Report

Greetings,

Hope you enjoyed our latest video on Operation Paul Bunyan, we tried some new character animations and I thought they came out pretty cool.

Over the next couple of weeks we will be releasing Operation Ten Go. The sinking of the Japanese super-battle ship Yamato, and the final Battle of the Bulge video covering the 28th Infantry Division's stand against the onslaught.

You may remember that in the past we have produced videos for the Australian Army history unit, including one on the Kokoda campaign which they released on their own YouTube channel if you're interested - https://youtu.be/wiliqwKlyng?si=rEbvggR8d7PxUIUS. We have recently been contracted to produce the next video, covering the Battle of Long Tan during the Vietnam War. This will be coming out in the next few months.

Thanks for your comments on last months post about the idea for a podcast, we continue to work behind the scenes to develop this idea.

Keep an eye out for our annual 1st April release, as the kids today would say , it's going to "slap"

Cheers!

Francis

Given everything that's been going on in the world as of late, have you given any thought about doing another fundraiser to buy more materials to send to Ukraine? Seems like they could use a little extra help right about now

Great to see that you'll cover the 28th ID's stand in the early days of the Bulge. I know I commented recently about the 10th Armored Division never getting enough credit; I almost added to that post that the 28th ID doesn't, either. In particular, the 110th Infantry Regiment was nearly wiped out in the first couple days of the Bulge fighting its delaying action. A good book on the topic is "Alamo in the Ardennes" by John C. McManus.

Ten-Go and the Yamato will be a great episode.
