Hi.
I'm changing from a 5 week release schedule (prior to v0.5.1 update) to a 7-8 week schedule. This is so I can make the updates larger.
There are two main reasons for doing this.
Firstly, the file size is getting bigger and the amount of new content you are getting increasingly doesn't justify the download size.
Secondly, all of the feedback I have received says that people want larger updates. It also suggests that the story is suffering because of the current small update size.

Thanks for your comment, PeeM. People losing interest is definitely my main worry. I will be making an effort to post more content between updates.

2020-11-13 08:55:56 +0000 UTCLate for the party, but I'm with KoGa3 here. I mean I can wait, no problem, but I still like frequent updates more. Plus I think they are better for keeping up interest. But it's dev's decision, so I'll adapt :)

I won't now be able to do the bigger updates in time, and unfortunately it seems that nearly no one will take it late (had the same "problem" with another mod). But of course I'm still looking forward to the next update for playing the game.

Well, if someone wished to have updates with more content, he could do that already. He just had to skip 1-2 game updates. The other way round is not possible, I have now to adapt to the long release cycle, too. A pity...

I'll rather wait 3-4 months to play an entire episode with good story immersion for a couple of hours. Many top AVN creators appear to have adopted a continuous dev / production cycle with 3-5 major updates.
