I definitely understand the burn out and lack of passion. Hillside is one of my favorite VN's of all time. Take all the time you need to get your head straight and hopefully get that spark back. There is a large community supporting you and that has your back. No one that enjoys this game wants it to be a pain to you creating it. Get your passion back and enjoy creating the rest of it. Me, and others, will gladly wait till then. Do not feel bad that you have to take some time off. Absolutely love the game and all the work you put into it

I really enjoy the game, and I hope you find the passion to carry on development, but you shouldn't do something you don't enjoy anymore. Take all the time you need, and hopefully you can rediscover what made start it in the first place. But first and foremost, you should look out for yourself, and your own wellbeing. Perhaps that's a selfish sentiment but that's just how I feel. So please take all the time you need to recharge. Been there myself so I know exactly what you're talking about. There best thing to do is to really taking time for yourself and not setting any timer for that. Take of the remainder of the year as a starter, try and take long daily walks and probably find some person to openly talk to about what's going on in your head. If at any point you feel a reconnection to the story and the characters you have created see if it is enough to rekindle the spark that once got you started. And if not then let it rest. The world is not going to stop. In the end it is all and only about yourself. Thanks so much for taking the time to finish this recent release anyway with al the struggle involved. If it should end here I'd still say thanks for the ride that was enjoyable all the way.
