Take your well deserved break and keep up the good work! I never thought I would want to pay for the development of a game of this kind. But... after playing each update, I have to admit: This is by far the best game of this kind I have ever played and if I can support someone working on it, then it is well spent money. Very impressive that a single person can be so good in so many different skills (story writing, 3d modelling, scene editing etc.) at the same time!

I think we all wish a happy ending for Charlotte and Emma and all the other nice characters in the story. But it is also fine if you say, you need a break. I can image that it is a lot of hard work. So take the time you need. No pressure please.

It's just me working on Hillside, and no I'm not okay. Patreon billing is paused this month while I take a break. Releases have gotten bigger over time. 10, 11, and 12 together are bigger than all previous releases combined. That is why they took longer to create.

Get some time away. Relax. Breathe. This should be fun and you do it because you love it. You need to remove any thought of your audience's expectations and just dev the story you want. So go unplug for a while and just go look at the fall foliage or some shit for a while...OK? lol - cheers DB!!

Everyone needs some 'me' time occasionally. Kick back, maybe play a few games for fun (take off your dev hat). Recharge yourself. Working solo on a massive project can be exhausting. But glad to hear your commitment to finish the story is unwavering. :)
