Mid Month Status Updates!
Added 2024-02-19 22:44:45 +0000 UTCHello everyone, I thought this would be a good time to provide people with some updates on the project (this is my first one!).
But first I'd like to thank everyone who's checked out my work and donated over the past month and a half, it really does mean a lot, even if you choose not to renew the subscriptions. The fact that so many people were interested in my work to give me any money is already amazing to me, and hopefully people will choose to rejoin later on!
With that out of the way, I just wanted to say that the daily uploads will still continue for the time being, although I am starting to feel the strain of writing so much without a break.
That being said, I will continue this schedule until at least chapter 100 (my backlog's at 82 right now) and most likely until the end of this Volume, but I wanted to see what everyone's opinions are on a preferred release schedule for after this. Even a slight decrease in writing will probably help out this project, as I need some time to plan for future events and volumes.
But I am not going to stop this project anytime soon, I want to make writing a career and I am fully willing to dedicate the time and effort into making that dream a reality. Future plans will be to get my work published on Amazon and KU, probably after releasing at least the full second volume onto RR.
Anyway, thank you all again for the support, and I hope to hear from my supporters!

I will eat many cookies soon, I think I'll take a small break after my goals and see how much I am comfortable writing. Thank you!

2024-02-20 03:16:39 +0000 UTCThe length of your chapters would make anything less than 4/week unusual if compared to other royalroad authors However I love the authors that only release two or 3 times a week but have nice long chapters to upload. That said, your book has one of the most consistent writing qualities and stories on RR right now and I'd be devastated if you broke your brain writing too much. So step one: get to that 100 chapter backlog you talked about. Step two: eat a cookie, you deserve it Step three: decide if chapter lengths are going to stay the same or if they can be extended Step four: drink some milk, that was a dry ass cookie Step five: find suitable pace for consistent writing and editing. Try experimenting with a certain number and go higher or lower based on what you think works best Step six: realize I don't actually know what I'm talking about so you should take what I'm saying with a grain of salt

We don’t want you to write yourself into a wall like alot of good beginner authors in RoyalRoad have. I once tried to write my own novel in RR. Didn’t even last one chapter before I called it quits and deleted what I posted. The fact you are able to post daily quality chapters is amazing to me.
