Toad Swamp
Added 2021-03-30 20:58:54 +0000 UTCAt the heart of a lonesome swamp sits the spawning pool of a giant toad. The air is thick with heat, and the delicate chirping of crickets. Egrets stand like sentinels, and alligators patrol the dark water ways, half hidden under lily pads. Trees loom over the swamp forming a maze curved roots and shadows. Mud and scum and insects and who knows what abominations crawl everywhere, ready to devour the unwary and accident prone.
