Floating Kelp

Great fronds of kelp trail over the waves, kept afloat by tiny gas bulbs. Long stems disappear into the water below. Above, the sun burns hot and clear, baking seaweed and leaving a sharp, salty smell in the air. Swimmers may get tangled in the mess and dragged beneath the oceanic canopy. Sometimes it seems the kelp is even reaching for you as the weeds rise and fall with waves against the rocks.

There are 4 different styles of kelp floating on the ocean surface, Trails with and without rocks, a floating Paddy and a spread of forest stems. Each of these has a night and storm version, and there are some special variations with blood and magic lights!
