Status Report - April 2022

We hope you are doing well, away from war and suffering.
We are proud to tell you that the story part for Episode 2 is complete.
The main effort is now on the renders. As you may know, the project started during the heights of the COVID pandemic, which gave us more time at home to pose and render. Now, being back at work almost every day, and mandatory external activities having resumed, it leaves less time to work on the renders. The impact is greater on the time available for scene preparation, as rendering can be done while working.
However, having progressed in the use of the tools, some time is gained on that part, so the impact is not so important.
The episode is going to be longer than the previous one as we are introducing 15 more characters. The estimate of the work done for this episode is roughly 50% to 60%. There is one big scene remaining to render, and multiple smaller scenes. There will be a few more animations to render, and static scenes for the most part.
What will remain after that is coding, proofing, translating and adding some sparkle. We are trying to make the game a little more interactive, apart from story choices. We will not share any detail on that part yet, but it should involve the player a bit more.
