Things and stuff + future plans

I'm going to try and keep this as short as possible since I'm not really a fan of writing massive walls of text, so... here goes nothing:

1) Unfortunately my monitor of 8 years is on the fritz (I've lost about a third of the backlight on the right side- seems to sometimes come back after 20-30 minutes of warmup time, but I'm guessing this unit is on the way out). I have a replacement on order, but it won't be here until early April.

Apologies in advance if it gets a bit quiet around here- it's kinda hard to find equipment right now with the whole WFH thing and increased global demand, so all I can really do is sit and wait for things to come back in stock.

2) For various other reasons (mainly burnout, but also frustration and a bit of boredom)- I've decided that I want to shelve my current OCs for a while and work on something completely different.

If this sounds familiar, it's probably because I've mentioned it before. At the time, I figured maybe rebuilding everything in Houdini would be enough to keep me interested. Unfortunately this didn't work out the way I originally planned, and now I'm facing a pretty serious case of 3D burnout. I'm not going to shelve them forever, but I do need a fairly long break so that I can try to learn something new while simultaneously rejuvenating my interest in 3D.

I'm still working out a lot of the details, so I don't have much to post about that right now- but what I can say is this: it's going to be sci-fi (but not your typical sci-fi), and there's going to be a ton of fetish stuff. I'm planning on making these new characters fully expandable from the get go, so you can pretty much be guaranteed that the overall theme of content around here isn't going to change.

Anyways... yeah. Sorry if that news is a bit disappointing to some of you, but I've been doing the same thing for several years now and I need to take a break so I can explore some new stuff and learn some new skills. I will return to my OCs in the future- I just can't say for sure when that will happen.
