For Mark and Josh, they're definitely both holding back. I think it's more their own issues stopping them from telling each other, rather than opportunity. Mr Rudd definitely has things on his mind, that's for sure. As for Avery's brother... well I just ended the 'Locky' mystery, so clearly it's time for a new one! Very astute observation of Gray. Much like a lot of things at Kingswood, perhaps Gray really wasn't what he first appeared to be! Axel... no comment! And Rob won't get in trouble. Even doing what they did they have enough PPE and other precautions in place to mitigate risks as much as they can. Even if they didn't, that would never stop Josh. As I always say, their friendship may not be as big and flashy as Chris and Danny, but they're every bit as close.

2025-03-02 03:01:59 +0000 UTCI had another candidate tentatively chosen for this week's quotable quote until I encountered this gem from Chris: “Don’t fuck me while I’m making you laugh!” This chapter fully exemplifies the principle, Why make things simple when you can have them be as complicated as hell? Sheesh. Where to begin? Weird that even with the whole Easter break to do so, neither Josh nor Mark found a way to disclose their true feelings to each other. It was noted that Mr. Rudd was around a lot, and that would of course impede discussion of personal matters, but that can't be the only reason. Meanwhile, perhaps Danny's proposal of adoption is having an effect on Mr. Rudd. Like everyone else, I am most curious to know what the deal is with Avery and any reference to a brother. Avery himself first brought it up when he confessed to Danny that he wanted a dick "bigger than his brother's." When Danny expressed surprise because he did not know Avery had a brother, Avery just closed down. And now in this chapter, Danny's comment about Avery being like the little brother Danny never had, meant as a compliment, had the entirely opposite effect on Avery. David and James are too cute for words. Danny and Chris are too cute for words. There must be something really interesting going on with Gray to lead to all the rigamarole he went through to have anonymous encounters with Nicky, and to his terror at being unmasked. Clearly Gray's ebullient public persona conceals a pretty bashful soul inside. Is this some version of once burned, twice shy? I found myself wondering if Axel would even return from Easter break. Guess we'll find out in due course. Poor Rob. Hope he doesn't get in trouble for making physical contact with Josh.

Curious to see how he bounces back from this. I wonder if Avery has a bad relationship with his brother, maybe it's abusive akin to Josh's situation?

I know we don't know much at all about Avery's personal life, but too many of these tidbits begs for further explanation. So hopefully we get to know young Master Avery a little better...my first thought was maybe he and Nicky share a very personal common tread with each other than Avery cannot/willnot process. Great chapter as always.

My mother passed away and was buried this week; I just didn't have it in me to comment. I was worn out from sitting by her bedside. I did try to like everyone's comments; I always look forward to those; it feels a little like we are all part of the Kingswood family ourselves.

2025-02-28 18:23:59 +0000 UTCLoved the first date of Danny and Chris. It was sweet to see. I'm happy Avery is now unlocked; I'm just worried about this whole brother situation with him. Hoping Nicky and Gray get their issue worked out soon - the two of them are just too cute together. Now Mark and Josh just need a nudge to get them together officially. While it was odd to not see Mikey in this chapter, I hope his visit home was good. I'm guessing we find out how it went in the next one. While Chris thinks Avery and Declan should be a couple, I'm still hoping for Avery and Milo. While I think we all called Chris and Danny (we'd have been daft not to), and some of us called Joseph and Brian, and I think we've all been rooting for Nicky/Gray and Josh/Mark, I'm wondering what pairings others might be hoping for with the Lads. Anyone else for Avery/Milo?
