The thing with the teachers is tgat they have a whole life going on behind the scenes. I deliberately don't show too much as I have occasionally thought of a teachergbased story and don't want to tie myself up fitting to too many established plot points. David certainly has plenty of issues. Definitely no more coming... 😂 Yeah, big step for Nicky, unsurprising for everyone else lol Mark and Josh... yeah... still a ways to go on that one! At this point, Rob is the only one who's never had any therapy, but yeah, it would certainly be helpful. Rob is an interesting character to write as he's probably the most overtly flawed member of the group. Danny will always Danny... maybe 😉

Seeing it may have caused Mr. Trent to reminisce about Daniel, but he may well have thought, "What are the odds that this student could be related?" On the other hand, now that Danny has brought up the subject of the old friend's last name, Mr. Trent might well put two and two together when he realizes that Avery Webb is Danny's mentee. He may well find himself with the same kind of quandary that Danny is in. I wonder if there would be any relevant information in the school's admission records for Avery? (Seems doubtful.) But in the Age of Google, some online detective work would certainly be feasible. Although Mr. Trent might find it painful to retrace those memories. All of this train of thought brings me back to Avery's parents. What did they know about their older son's sexuality (assuming that it was, indeed, the same Daniel who committed suicide)? Did he leave behind some kind of note of confession, or maybe a journal that they found? Did they react badly when learning that Daniel had been outed at his school? Does sending Avery to Kingswood represent the parents' atonement for Daniel's experience?

Actually I wonder why it didn't occur to him that Avery Webb might be related to Daniel Webb?

2025-04-20 07:01:07 +0000 UTCIt occurred to me, as random thoughts so often do, that we have gotten no indication of whether Mr. Rudd and Mr. Beecham ever pursued anything with each other, notwithstanding Danny and Chris being punished for their efforts to bring that about. Hmmm.... It's hard to think of David without the term "long-suffering" popping into my head. Bravo to Nicky for committing publicly to his affiliation with Gray. Although the news pretty much fell into the dog-bites-man category. Speaking of biting, we're still rooting for Mark to bite the bullet and tell Josh about his true feelings. As for Rob, it certainly seems to me that a little therapy would not go amiss. I don't really blame Mark for not immediately passing along Josh's message of forgiveness, after the way Rob had treated him. And, of course, leave it to Danny to secure his own form of "therapy" for his panic attack. Kinkswood must be pretty darn close. What new and weird things will unfold there?

For Mark, he sees himself, Jazz and Gray as a separate new group, so they're his OGs
