Also, the boys are encouraged to explore their sexual interests, so some of them will always experiemnt with it a bit. Don't worry, Mikey will get justice. And yeah, it's a shame to lose Brian, but departure is one of the only inevitable things about Kingswood

Maybe it was that scoundrel Axel -- who knows? Or possibly the schism in the year 7 dorm was already bad enough at this point that it frustrated whatever the plan was. As I noted elsewhere, at this point Matt has not had to figure out what the prank was going to be or why it went sideways. The important story point was that the Year 10s got punished for it. FURTHER THOUGHT: The more I consider it, the more likely it seems to me that the "leak" of information about the prank must have happened between a Year 10 mentor and a Year 7 mentee. The interesting question is whether it was a slip-up, or whether the mentor in question decided that his mentee (and perhaps the whole dorm) should be forewarned. Hmmmm . . . .

That's a surprise. Maybe if Josh and Mark meet up, as they plan, the bridge between them will finally be crossed.

IMO it's absolutely normal Rob thought "what have you done, Milo?" when he heard Milo raping another boy, and then relieved to know that Milo didn't really make that awful mistake. So I'm not happy to see Milo turn so hostile against Rob. But I wonder if Matt would really want to resolve this issue in summer vacation…… 😒

2025-05-23 19:37:59 +0000 UTCFor whatever reason, I was suspicious of Todd before the abuse started. I didn’t suspect him to be faking an illness though. You would thing the school would have a better screening process but I guess you can’t catch everyone’s hidden flaws. I’ll confess that it may have brought a tear to my eye when Nicky was having his talk with Matt. I’m also wondering about some of the other topics that weren’t wrapped up. I recognize that Matt also likes to keep something back and keep us wondering. But it’s been a while since there was any discussion about Milo and Rob’s situation. To me, that is a major story line left hanging. I think I commented previously that summer break at home together would also be an opportunity for reconciling. I remember back to when Rob started at Kingswood and reading how much a part of his life Milo was, leaving him behind at home was not easy for Rob. Milo worshipped Rob up until he came to Kingswood. Clearly Rob didn’t handle things right from the start of the school year, but those 2 need to get back to being brothers.
