2025-09-06 18:18:51 +0000 UTCThe bait of switch of making us think Danny was considering the offer was fun, but I'm proud of Danny that he was firmly on the right side. I don't know if there will repercussion for the strong language he against a teacher, but it was well deserved. I like his reason for not telling the team about the offer before the match, but I hope he tells them afterwards. Naturally, I'm curious about what the secret is, but I expect we'll only learn in the next book. David's theory that Nicky has ADD makes sense, even if he doesn't believe it. It's interesting that we're still learning about mental health conditions among our main cast. But ADD is harder to diagnose, so it's natural for it to take longer. And I like that David learning from their experience of not having shared their theory about Mikey. David, don't be oblivious, it's unlike you. It does makes sense in matters of relationships, but it stands out because it contrasts with how they're like with everything well. “Oh, that’s just Tyler. He stares a lot but he’s cool”. No, Tyler doesn't stare a lot in general, he stares a lot at you. I'm looking forward to seeing that dynamic when they start dating. I hope Jorge gets to stay, he's a good kid. He's probably going to need a stronger reason for Kingswood/Jack to take him in as a child of Kingswood than not liking that his parents are moving. But maybe there is something strange there with his parents, it's weird that they're moving again after such a short time. This also makes me wonder if Mark can one day become a child of Kingswood to get rid of his awful parents. Not now, something big would probably have to happen before he'd even consider it. Gray being the boss of Chris will be great. First, it will help Gray with his confidence. Maybe giving orders in this context will help him be more natural in a dom role too. Second, this is the best pairing to make it hilarious, with their fake animosity towards each other. The return of the rugby captains' stuff should also be good, I think Rhys could have some cool dynamics.
