They definitely have issues to be resolved, but it will be interesting to see who makes the first big move...

2025-10-25 12:49:33 +0000 UTCI'm concerned that the punishment Mr. Stone communicated to Nicky was that he had to break up with Gray. If this is correct, Mr. Stone will win A$$hole of the Year in a landslide.

2025-10-20 02:17:51 +0000 UTCI'd meant to comment on Rob's "Mr. Perfect" comment immediately followed by Mikey walking up and totally forgot to mention it. So glad you brought it up - I'm hoping that's some foreshadowing from Matt right there. And Nicky's break-up technique is quite crap. Hopefully, those are the only break-ups he'll do during the rest of his Kingswood years.

2025-10-19 17:52:44 +0000 UTCI have one more thought. Last week, I thought Mack would eventually break up with Josh. Now, with Mack supporting Gray through his sadness, I think the breakup could come very soon, but I no longer know who will initiate it. It could be Mark because Josh's jealously becomes too much or Josh himself because he convinces himself there's something going on between Mark and Gray. Either way, I expect them to eventually get back together, after Josh has time to see Mark not start dating anyone else and realize that his jealously was unfounded. But he'll need to convince Mark he won't go down the same path again.

2025-10-19 15:32:41 +0000 UTCJosh's jealously continues to disappoint me, now it reached a new low where even Mark comforting a devastated friend is a problem for him. And he's tempting fate by saying "Some of us can actually make a relationship last!” I already said previously I think Mark and him will break up and eventually get back together, but now I think that may happen already at Halloween. And Mikey's right, "you just gotta let him fuck up and find out for himself!”, there's no other way to make him see it. I guess breaking up via text message is improvement over doing it on stage in front of everyone, but Nicky still has to work on his breaking up methods. He's being evasive about why he broke up, so it's something he doesn't want to talk about. I still don't think Mr. Stone would make that his punishment, so my theory is still it being related to Matt. That wold make sense as a touchy subject he doesn't like to open up about. And I'm worried about him, the way he's pushing everyone away and dealing with his pain alone isn't healthy, but the others can't force him. I'm proud of Rob this week. Even asking whether he's sexy was already a positive step, even a year ago he would have probably not believed what Milo said last week and done nothing to even try to check if it's true. But actually considering that second costume and asking for opinions on it is a big step towards ending, or at least reducing, his body image issues. Also lmao at this part "It wasn’t like Mr Perfect was going just walk right up to him. / Just then, Mikey walked right up to him!" David and Ty are so cute together. David reaction to his father's comments and Ty's reaction to his friends letting David know for how long he had been attracted to them were fun. And I liked seeing that David still keeps this in mind in regards to last year: "With an awkward wince, they added in a mutter, 'Very forgiving friends!'" Also, Matt (the writer, not Nicky's brother), I'm with Xavier on this: “Okay, you’re never referring to the 80s or 90s as ‘the 1900s’ ever again if you know what’s good for you!” I liked seeing The Lads, it's nice to have another couple there. And we're definitely seeing more of them next week, plus some more of Jorge when we reach the summer, that will be cool. I wonder if what Danny told David about Shane following on their footsteps in regards to Halloween will be the push they need to finally do something about the issues between them, by actually talking to Blane like someone suggested.

2025-10-18 13:57:43 +0000 UTCEverything I want to say is here, heh. Plus, I wonder if there will be more Josh-jealousy drama in Halloween party. It's also hilarious that the Lads cos their own mentors, and looking forward to the older boys' prank and the consequences! (All right, I don't really want to see the older boys being punished again because of the prank)

2025-10-18 03:49:14 +0000 UTCI love the focus on Rob this chapter. Avery was hilarious with his "Jumbo-Milo" and "Milo Senior" names for Rob. It seems as though Rob is beginning to come into his own finally. The second option for his Halloween costume obviously shows more confidence. Avery and Milo - another couple I called for long ago that are really cute together. Totally my favorite two of The Lads. Also, Ty and David - such a cute couple based on what little we saw of them together. Looking forward to seeing what happens with them. Speaking of David, it was sweet of Danny to build David up by pointing out that Shane had obviously listened to David when it came to the costume preparation for The Lads. I'm worried about Nicky. Hopefully, we won't have long to wait to find out what's going on there. And Josh and Mark's relationship still concerns me. I don't know that I have a hero for this chapter, but I do have a favorite. Rob for the win!

2025-10-17 22:06:09 +0000 UTCWe're getting a proper Halloween party story next week. Hell yeah! Obviously, you couldn't do that in year 10, they were absolutely not in the mood after Josh's news. But I still missed it, I'm looking forward to that. The Lads' costumes idea is amazing and I'm looking forward to see how an attempt at pranking them will somehow end with Danny naked. There's a tradition to maintain, so that's the conclusion I expect out of anything anyone plans at a Kingswood Halloween party. There's more important things to talk about, but I'll do it tomorrow after I had time to gather my thoughts.
