2026-01-22 18:44:31 +0000 UTCOne nice thing about seeing the Lads interact is we notice the similarities to some of the mentors of the group, in some cases not their own. Peyton having body issues while other guys say he's hot reminds me of David. The jokes about how sexually active Milo is are obviously similar to Danny. Shane thinking it's weird that the group talks about sex so openly is similar to Mark at the start. Another cool thing is when they basically mentor their own mentors back, which we see in what Milo was telling Josh about Mark. He even knew insisting was pointless. I really liked the care the Lads took in trying to not cross the line between making them be playfully offended and being actually upset. Milo gets big points on this one. He checks with Josh because the baldness sensitive topic and this was the only way to be sure. He tries to get Shane to see David is a good person (with no success) and to at least not be too mean (with partial success). Milo is really mature in general, I also liked him trying to lift Peyton's confidence and making sure Shane was okay with everything he was doing. The Halloween party was obviously fun. Of course they won the trophy, their group costume idea was amazing. The highlight was, of course, Avery dressed as Danny. He was doomed to end up naked the moment he picked that costume for Halloween, there was accuracy at play and a tradition to maintain. Pulling the trophy to reveal his boner to the crowd was the cherry on top of Halloween. But it also served as an unusual way to show how much he loves Milo. Avery got hard just from learning how much Milo enjoyed seeing him naked in public. One detail I liked was when Shane used a Spanish expression, it shows how people in a group of friends influences each other, in this case Jorge's native language. The nicknames in the group chat were funny. It took me a bit to get "horhay" because, even though I know how to pronounce Jorge in Spanish, it's strange to see a Spanish word spelled out phonetically in English. Unrelated to this story, seeing the Lads reminded me that, in the main story, we're still waiting for Danny to tell Avery what he knows about Daniel. I hope he does it soon.

And it makes me fall in love with this group even more.l Probably will have more to say later, and I echo Davide's comment about Halloween. Halloween at Kingswood is so enjoyable to read about.
