Vir asked this question, naturally, to figure out how to plan their next move.
If Hancock didnât go to this war, he could totally take her place.
Take her place in the Summit War.
That would give him a free pass to move around as he pleased at Marineford, which would make things a lot easier.
So Vir was the first to bring it up.
After a brief pause...
Hancock finally snapped out of her daze.
She didnât answer Virâs question right away.
Instead, she gazed at him with affection in her eyes. A moment later, she asked shyly,
âWill you go?â
âYup.â
âThen this empress shall go as well!â
Her already rosy cheeks flushed even deeper as she spoke.
Hearing this, Vir nodded.
Hancock going wasnât a bad idea.
Truth be told, he was still a bit hesitant about Plan A.
After all, it meant dressing up as a woman.
And not just for a short while, either.
Heâd have to play the part of the Pirate Empress...
Imagine a horde of men staring at him, their eyes sparkling with little hearts...
Honestly, it was kind of unbearable.
Maybe even a little gross.
If Hancock was going, they could scrap that plan entirely.
He could just teleport Luffy straight to Impel Down.
No need to hitch a ride on a Marine ship.
Express delivery, right to the doorstep.
âVir, whatâs your plan?â
At that moment, Marco, sitting across from Vir, leaned forward and asked.
Vir didnât beat around the bush.
He laid out his idea right then and there.
There was no one else around to overhear.
But when they heard Virâs plan, Marcoâs brow furrowed.
Even Rayleigh, sitting nearby, looked like he wasnât entirely on board.
Vir might be fine, but Luffy was gonna get himself killed going in like that.
Wasnât this a bit reckless?
But in truth, as long as Vir was looking after him, Luffy would be fine.
Still, Vir couldnât just waltz straight down to Level 6 of Impel Down, right?
The old man was still sitting down there.
Step one was obviously to help Luffy stir up some chaos in Impel Down.
Once Garp left Level 6, thatâd be Virâs chance to make a move.
But Hancock, hearing Virâs plan, immediately chimed in that she could take them with her.
âThis Empress is a ShichibukaiâI have the right to tour Impel Down. Besides... if weâre attending the war, itâs about time we set off anyway.â She said, as she glanced at Vir. âGoing with you all wonât slow us down much.â
Hancockâs face remained flushed as she spoke to Vir.
Honestly, ever since she had sat beside him, her cheeks had stayed red.
They had never returned to normal...
Everyone nodded in agreement at her words.
This plan was clearly safer.
Sure, young folks liking a bit of thrill was understandable.
But for something like this, wasnât playing it safe the better call?
âI think this works! Letâs not take unnecessary risks.â Marco said, giving his approval.
âMhmh! Donât end up with Luffy locked up before we even save Ace.â Yamato added, stuffing her face with meat.
âExactly. Thereâs still over a week leftâno need to rush. Kids these days are too impatient...â Rayleigh said, sipping his sake.
Vir, whoâd just brought a plate over for Chopper, couldnât argue with their logic.
Going too early didnât seem all that useful.
Taking a Marine ship wasnât a bad idea either.
At the very least, itâd save him some energy.
Plus, if they went later, they might run into Blackbeard and his crew.
When Magellan took them down, Vir could swoop in and rack up some negative points.
Heâd almost forgotten about those scumbags.
Why was he so forgetful lately?
Sigh.
Was he spending too much time around women?
Was his brain getting sluggish?
Blackbeardâs crew definitely needed to be dealt with.
Werenât they poisoned?
When the time came, heâd just say, âOh, youâre all poisoned from head to toe.â
âIâll have to carve out those poisoned muscles and blood vessels.â
âClear out the toxins, then stitch you back up~â
Yeah.
That process shouldnât be too brutal, right?
After that, he could lop off a couple of legs.
Extract a few bones.
Make sure they couldnât make it to the Summit War.
As for why not just kill them?
Well, of courseâsustainable resource management.
If you kill him, you canât âtreatâ him again later.
But if you leave him alive and break him down...
Youâd have plenty of chances to run into him again, âtreatâ him, and break him all over again.
Wasnât that better than a one-time fix followed by death?
Good. That was the plan.
Theyâd go with Hancock.
âAlright, weâll go by Marine ship!â Vir said.
The group let out a collective sigh of relief.
Good. He was willing to listen.
âHancock, how are you gonna get them there?â Rayleigh asked.
Hancockâs face turned red again as she stole glances at Vir.
She didnât say a word.
Vir was a bit speechless.
What was this woman thinking now?
She wasnât seriously expecting him to pull a Luffy and hide under her cloak like in the original story, was she?
He was taller than her...
How the hell would that even work?
No, it literally wouldnât.
But Vir had a workaround.
He could just transform into her snake.
Yup, her snake.
Everyone on Amazon Lily had their own snake.
Heâd tested it beforeâhis mimicry ability could even copy animals.
As wild as it sounded, it was totally in line with the system.
OP as hell.
As for Luffyâeasy.
Just get a basketball.
Shove him in.
No joke. Literally shove him in.
Hang the basketball around his neck.
Problem solved.
If any Marine asked, just say: âWhat? My snake loves playing basketball.â
âBeen playing for two and a half years. Snake prodigy.â
Flawless.
Vir shared his plan with the group.
Everyone was shocked that he could turn into a snake, but they all agreed it was a solid plan.
Luffy, meanwhile, was just eating the whole time.
Completely unbothered by the details.
Only one person seemed off.
Hancock looked... disappointed, for some reason.
No one could quite figure out why.
With the plan settled, everyone dug into their meal.
It was getting late, and after eating, itâd be time to rest.
He had to deal withâer, treatâShiki tomorrow.
No slacking off. Early rest was key.
âVir~, try this. Itâs delicious.â
âThis oneâs good too.â
âAnd this! This is my favorite, you have to taste it.â Hancock said, piling food onto Virâs plate.
After trying and failing to refuse a few times, Vir gave up.
He let Hancock keep serving him.
âThis venison is great. Try it too.â she said.
âHEYâ!!â Chopper, who had been munching happily, suddenly protested.
âYou canât eat venison! Venison is horrible! Deer are so cute, how could you eat them?!â
The little reindeer glared fiercely at Hancock.
Vir chuckled and waved it off.
âNo need, we brought our own!â he said with a grin.
âHUH?! Big Bro, how could you?!â Chopper puffed up angrily.
âŠâŠ
Soon enough, everyone was full and headed off to sleep.
Vir returned to his room and took a quick shower.
Hancock also went back to prepare for the next dayâs journey.
After all, sheâd be traveling far with the Marines.
As a woman, she had a few things to pack.
Meanwhile, fresh from his shower, wearing nothing but a pair of shorts and flip-flops, Vir stared at the extra person in his room and fell into deep thought.
So here's the question... whose room is this, exactly?
