In that episode when the fusion falls apart it briefly shows shapes of ruby and sapphire before they fuse into Garnet. Its quite easy to miss. I didn't comment cuz didn't wanna spoil haha!

2023-05-03 13:59:30 +0000 UTCIn hindsight they dropped so many hints about Garnet that I never noticed - the two gems in her hands, the way that the inner temple door lights up two star points when it opens to her room, the way she was so confident Steven could fuse and had that enormous grin when he did.
