2025-04-18 16:52:56 +0000 UTCJust for clarification, the issue isn't that the Saiyans are outside of Earth, Shenron cannot grant a wish that exceeds Kami's power. The Saiyans being many times more powerful than Kami means the dragon cannot destroy them. OH and Vegeta's hair color change is due to the Manga and Anime coming out so close to each other that by the time they had to animate those earlier scenes, there were still no color panels for Vegeta and Nappa, so they just randomly guessed what it would be until finally Toriyama decided on the color for them which is the one we see in this episode.

2025-04-17 18:14:02 +0000 UTC17:56 Vegeta’s old colors were a coloring mistake most likely. I assume the anime was so close to the manga that they had no colored reference of Vegeta aside from the black and white panels, so they filled the blanks themselves. By the time of this episode, they must’ve received the official colors from Toriyama. All pure Saiyans have black hair according to Toriyama
