Can finally have some time to catch up on your reactions. In the anime, after Freeza go 100% Goku gets beat up for quite long which give the impression Freeza got really strong but in the manga, Goku was getting beat up a bit to test out his opponent like he usually do, and when Freeza tells him he also was testing the water and wasn't going full strength, Goku respond: "Glad to hear that, I would've been disappointed otherwise..." with a smirk on his face, can't get anymore badass, and it really contrast with the Goku we know and Goku as a Super Saiyan.
