Where are we now?

Hello! Been a hot minute. I've been promising myself that I would be updating this thing more regularly, but these last few months I've had a lot on my plate, and i've been feeling very scatterbrained the last few months. It's been daunting, honestly, Shipwrecked set myself a really high bar that I just, kind of have to match, if not exceed in quality now? It's certainly kind of scary, but I want to figure things out for the future.

So, as of late, I've been discussing stuff with the team, as well as bringing on some new faces to the team! One of the people on board is the insanely talented PoisonousPastels ( https://x.com/PoisonousPastel ), and they have been doing literally god's work on modelling work towards future BSB stuff! We've been taking the time, prior to moving forward in the story, to get a SOLID setting down. StudioGrounds, the park itself, for once is actually going to be shown in detail. This is something I have been itching to do since 2021, but could never pull off due to limited resources, so to do so now genuinely feels great! A lot of the rides are tributes to scrapped ideas, or just things mentioned briefly in earlier BSB content and now elaborated on. This also means I have to make a Small-World ride involving a bunch of creepy squirrel dolls. While this one isn't far enough along to show, I do have something interesting! Attached to this post is a video (it is a test, mind you, nothing final yet), of a character returning from scrapped Shipwrecked content, THE VULTURE!! You may have seen this character on the Shipwrecked Wiki and thought to yourself.. "what the hell is that?". After talking to the team, we've discussed making him the mascot of the park's token horror-ride, "Haunted Hills"! He is voiced by Ray O'Hare (No relation to Stumbler, of course), and I'm honestly very happy to finally be putting a voice to this character!
